Early Flights Debarkation

I remember on previous cruises that people with early flights got some kind of number or something that allowed them to debark a little earlier. Does anyone know what they consider to be an early flight for someone debarking the ship in Miami and flying out of Fort Lauderdale. Thank you for your help.

It would be best to do what they call self-assist debarkation. Once cleared, after VIP and platinum is called, self-assist is next. We were off the ship one hour after the lines were tied last Monday in NY. BUT you have to be able to carry all your own luggage off the ship.

If you cannot do that, you can ask to be in the first batch of numbers called to debark.

Like the other poster mentioned, you can do the self-assist disembarking. This means you drag all your own luggage off the ship. Did this once, and if you have a lot of stuff, I don't recommend it.

Otherwise, you will be given ZONE tags in your cabin the night before you leave so you can put them on the luggage u stick outside the door. They have numbers on them. The VIP's and people with post-cruise excursions have the lowest numbers. The Funpass asks you how you are getting home and what time your flights are. You should be assigned a number that takes your flight time into consideration. If you are worried, then be sure to stop at the guest services desk and discuss your concerns. Our last flight was at 4:15pm, and we had zone 20 tags.
