shore excursions Azamara Sept 12

ok need some helps - the better half and myself are not sure if we should be doing some of the arranged shore excursions.

can anyone give some advice on whether to book with the cruise line or go independent>

I strongly suggest that you go to the roll Call section of CruiseCritic.

Scroll down this page. Look for Roll calls and click on Azamara roll calls.

Look for the roll call for your cruise. Also study roll calls for similar Azamara itineraries. You will get a better idea of ship's tours compared to private tours or do it yourself tours.

I see you are taking the Nov 14th Azamara Cruise. I just wondered if you have found anything interesting to do on your own in Fethiye? Pat

It seems to be too late in the year when we are going for a boat tour, but there are lots of wonderful boat tours.Do a search here and on tripadvisor.

 

I am thinking of taking either a taxi or public transit (dolmus?) to the ghost village of KayaKoy. Then in the afternoon we will hang out on the waterfront. There are places you can buy fish and take it to a restaurant to cook.
