Fireworks on the Magic

Hi,

 

We are sailing on the Magic on its Sept 12th cruise. My wife loves the fireworks that Disney puts on at Epcot and we have heard that they do fireworks on the Disney ships. I also heard they are the only cruise ships allowed to do that.

 

Does anyone remember what night or nights they do them or have any other info on the subject.

They do the fireworks the night of the Pirate Party.

On our Eastern itinerary this past spring, the fireworks were on Pirate night, which was night 4, after leaving St. Maarten.

Thanks for the info. My wife, who really likes fireworks, was hoping for more than one night but at least she will have that.

They do it pirate night weather permitting. It is off of the starboard side I believe. They are pretty late. I have never managed to stay up for them and since we are on the port side have never seen them. I can't imagine they compare to what they do on land but please post and let us know?

You're right, they really don't compare to a land-based show. Not that they really could, but we found them to be a bit disappointing. But it's still pretty cool that they do them at all.
