Steel Drum Player - The Wedding Experience

Hi all

 

Has anyone ever booked a steel drum player for their reception aboard Royal Caribbean. I enquired, they quoted $450 plus VAT which we agreed to and then they added $159 to the invoice for a sound technician which apparently is needed for the steel drummer! We have now cancelled this, just wondering if anyone has had the same experience please?
