A friend took a boat from St. Thomas to St. John about 2 years ago that she said was alot of fun. They took them to the beach...didn't dock, rather anchored and you could hop in a dingy or just hop right in the water. Anyone know of any similar type things being offered?

I suggest you read through the St Thomas/St John threads further............there are lots of day sailboats or powerboats recommendations.........

Most leave out of Red Hook or Sapphire marina and will require a taxi to and fro....

Water activities are very popular here in St. Thomas with the beautiful water, warm weather, tropical breezes... well you get the picture. There are quite a few day charters, try http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=st.+thomas+activities+day+charters&aq=0&oq=st.+thomas+activities+&aqi=g1.
