Catz4001 Posted November 6, 2009 #26 Share Posted November 6, 2009 I need a room for 2 nights pre-cruise in January....tried Priceline for $80 ...3 star downtown or southbeach, and got turned down. Can get Airport Regency Hotel for $95 a night with a free shuttle to port also free shuttles to mall for something to do. Anyone know if this is a decent place? flowerchild Posted November 6, 2009 #27 Share Posted November 6, 2009 January is the begining of the snow bird season. Try the Doral area, it is centrally located and has many hotels... Keep trying everyday...
Rina155 Posted November 7, 2009 #28 Share Posted November 7, 2009 I booked my cruise as a package through NCL as there was not a whole lot of price difference. We cruise in December and they have us placed at the Softiel in Miami. I am glad to hear other's say good things about this hotel, as I was worried by some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. alwalaska Posted November 7, 2009 #29 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Bill,We too are cruising in March and staying at LaQuinta. Which one offers both airport and port pickup and drop off? I have not been able to find that. Thanks La Quinta Inn & Suites Miami Airport East 3501 N.W. Le Jeune Road Miami, FL 33142 Phone: 1-305-871-1777 We are staying here end of March. It is $89. The reviews are all pretty good even though people on the east coast departures forum say the less expensive hotels are in bad areas. They also offer free parking during your cruise if you have a car.
FLAHAM Posted November 7, 2009 #30 Share Posted November 7, 2009 January is the begining of the snow bird season. Try the Doral area, it is centrally located and has many hotels... Keep trying everyday... The snowbird season starts around Thanksgiving and the Doral area is out by the airport, a good distance from the beach and most other attractions.
