Passau to Munich

I am curious if anyone knows about the length of time involved getting from the ship to the airport, we are sailing on the River Beatrice next June and I am looking for airfare.

It is right around 160 kilometers from Passau to the Munich Airport.

The route is almost all Autobahn.

Will take about 2 hours depending on the day you are traveling.

Saturday will probably take a little longer and Sunday morning a little shorter.

We did this itinerary in March this year and took the train from Passau to downtown Munich. It took approx 2 1/2 hrs and was very easy to use even with 3 large suitcases. I believe to the airport is a little shorter. Go to www.raileurope.com for information. The River Beatrice called a taxi for us which took us to the train station in Passau. I believe the cab fare was something like $10 - $15 US dollars.

 

It was a wonderful trip on the River Beatrice and we enjoyed the train ride too.
