Booking online vs. 1-800-Carnival

Are there any pros/cons either way on this? Not sure which way to book.

Personally, I want to speak to a live person. You may be eligible for discounts that the "on-line" service can't provide (i.e. military) etc. Call Carnival and find yourself a good PVP and let your PVP do the work for you.

I've tried to book several cruises on-line and have never been able to complete the process for one reason or another. I've always ended up calling the number and booking over the phone. I haven't had any trouble with that and if you have a question about cabin location, you can get it answered then.

I'd definitely say calling is easier. I've tried to do the process to check pricing etc online and being new to it all the room numbers and options and stuff just turn me in circles. Also with discounts a lot you have to call in like the prior poster said, ie military discount.
