Marriott Beach Place Tower - Fort Lauderdale

It isn't really a traditional hotel...it is time share units that marriott will sell as "rooms" based on availability. (they do have SOME hotel rooms though)

It was renovated in 2008 so that should be good...

it is across the street from the beach....there are several restaurants and shops right there...

it also tends to be VERY crowded....all the time.....i've been there twice (haven't stayed....just looking...) and it was PACKED (once was in July and once was in January...)

it's in a good location...for just a night or so, i would rather stay at Harbour Beach.....if i was going to be around for a week or so, then i would pick a timeshare unit i guess......i just wasn't impressed with it at all....again, i didn't stay there, but nothing i saw (or attempted to see0 impressed me.....[i am a Platinum Premier Marriott Rewards member, and the staff wsa rather rude to me on both occasions.....]

Again, YMMV but you asked for opinions.....it's a good location but be prepared for there to be tons of people!

Location wise, it's great......
