Luggage tag question

I know there have been a million of these but...I noticed the tags in my online docs section are blue. Does the color have any significance to the porters or stewards delivering the bags? Do we have to print the tags in color?

Mine are orange. I think they do color-code by deck. I'd try to print them in color, if possible.

Blue = Forward part of ship.

Peach = Aft part of ship.

We are Aft balcony (in the last cabin before actual aft cabin) and ours are Blue...it says Aft-S...

Maybe it's aft is blue forward is peach becase we are aft-p and blue.

 

Anyone know for sure?

mine has always been peach/orange.

 

never blue. we are always mid ship.

 

it is not necessarly done by color coding. it is by the bar code on the tag now. they scan it once it is on the ship.

Where on the online docs are the luggage tags. I sail in 20 days, filled in the fun pass and can't find anything where there are luggage tags.

Once you log into the Carnival site go to your reservation. On the 4th tab down the left side is "MyDocuments" click on this. Then next to your names just above the map on the left is a little button that says "View". Click this and it will form a PDF. Print the PDF and you'll have all your info and tags.

Print them in black, lots of people do with no problems.

I've been wondering this myself. I already printed out all my tags for 5 people in black and white and laminated them.. Really don't want to redo them all in color, but will if I need to..

Have always printed my tags in black and white and have never had a problem. Also laminate them with clear packing tape punch a hole through the ends and afix the tags with plastic cable ties. Never had a problem.
