Yes we opened the door between the rooms inside. We were going to have the balconies connected but they said they had installed new hardware but had nothing to hold the balcony door open, so it would swing back and forth and not stay open. Hopefully they have that problem taken care of by the time you go! We were rooms 8202 & 8204. OOH, lucky you, next year. I would love to return in the winter to see the whales and the big north shore waves!

Thanks again! I'm hopeful for next year but if not, definitely the year after. They're re-doing the visitor's center at Pearl Harbor and it should be done in 2 years! I'd love to see it and have my kids see it too! We saw so many amazing things while we were there but also so many things that we didn't get to see & do. Now that we've been there, we have a better idea of where we'd like to go next time! Thanks again for all the info and the great review...I guess I should get busy & do one too!
