Dinner in Livorno

My husband and I will be on Legend of the Seas in October - we will be in Livorno/Florence for 2 days - we are going into Florence the first day but when we return from our tour, we wanted to go into Livorno for dinner. I was just wondering if there will still be taxis hanging around the port to make this possible - and also if they will be available to get us back to the ship

Odds are there will be taxis there, returning passengers if not waiting for fares. However, in the event you don't find them there when you want them, ask your cruise staff to call for one.

 

Similarly, when you ask for your check at the restaurant, ask them to please call a taxi for you. This is quite common in Italy.
