Looking for a beach close to port in San Juan??

I'm looking for a beach that's not too far from the port in San Juan. Ya know, we could take a 15 minute taxi ride once the ship docks to a nice beach to spend an afternoon? I've read about Isla Verde Beach in my Caribbean Travel magazine. Anyone been there?
Any ideas...........anyone??

Nancy, hate to disappoint you but there really are not many good beaches in San Juan. Maybe someone can think of someplace you could spend the afternoon. Actually if it's the day you sail I would reacommend you just board early and enjoy the ship. NMNIta

The Condado Plaza is 15 min or less from the docks. The beach is lovely. We stay at the Condado whenever we are in San Juan. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img] It has a couple of pools, also.
