Can anyone please comment on the difference between a Veranda (2A) vs. a Sunset Veranda (SA) on the above ship? Worth the price differential? The location OK? Is the balcony really that large (87 sq ft)?

We were in 8224 on the Mercury. We had 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table that you could actually sit at to eat, on the balcony. We moved the loungers to our balcony from the public stairwell area on the other side of the partition. No one seemed to mind that we did this. We absolutely loved this cabin and balcony. The bed configuration is a problem for some people because it is up against the wall. We really liked the separate sitting area though, so it was kind of a wash. If you can get 8224, and don't mind the bed being against the wall, I would certainly go for it. Oh, another thing...we were in Australia/NZ and the aft balconies are more protected from the wind and cooler temps. For us that was another plus. Good luck:)
