dsneymom Posted August 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Just curious to find out if the entertainment, daily activities, menus and other "offerings" are the same on a repositioning cruise as a regular cruise or do they "cut back"? Also, this is our first time on HAL. On our last 2 Carnival cruises we boarded immediately dashed to the spa to be demo models. Does HAL do a spa demo at the beginning of the cruise? At the end of the cruise do you actually have to "sign" your bill at the purser's desk? Do they slip a copy under your door for your review? Please let me know. =)
tytan Posted August 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I would hope the entertaiment etc is the same as a regular cruise as this is just the first four days of a longer 19 day cruise to Hawaii. We are on this cruise and it's our first with HAL. As far as the other questions I can't help.

Do they slip a copy under your door for your review? You Will get a copy of your on-board charges the night before the last full day and you can settle up the next morning if you need any adjustments if all ok you don't need to go to front desk just leave and the charges will be billed to your credit card on file. No need to physically go to sign :) Re: Entertianment etc: all the same has a longer cruise has some of us are on board for the full 19 days:D:D
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 28, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Just curious to find out if the entertainment, daily activities, menus and other "offerings" are the same on a repositioning cruise as a regular cruise or do they "cut back"? There will be no cut backs. Also, this is our first time on HAL. On our last 2 Carnival cruises we boarded immediately dashed to the spa to be demo models. Does HAL do a spa demo at the beginning of the cruise? Sometimes HAL does have a demo -- they use their own people in the spa - no passengers. Usually around 3 PM they have tours of the spa. At the end of the cruise do you actually have to "sign" your bill at the purser's desk? You do not need to go to the front desk to sign your final bill. Do they slip a copy under your door for your review? The morning of the last full day of your cruise you will get a pre-liminary bill in your mailbox -- review this and check it out carefully. You will get your final bill right before you leave the ship. Please let me know. =) Welcome to Cruise Critic.
