Moonstoners Posted December 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Splendour of the Seas---Cabins We're booked on the December 2005 sailing from Galveston, and have cabins 7085, 7087, 7089 and 7091 booked. Anybody ever used these cabins? Any suggestions/words of wisdom, etc? You'll notice that two of the cabins are accessible, since we have two wheelchairs in our group. R. Splinter Posted January 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2005 I think that ship (older) is similar to the Monarch. You can find photos of an accessible cabin in the Monarch here: http://www.cgta.com/

DEL67 Posted March 25, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2005 We have been on the Splendour of the Seas twice, but both times we had outside cabins on deck 4 rather than deck 7. Our cabins were L-shaped and at least 50% larger than standard ones with plenty of space for the wheelchair to move around. The bathroom was the one drawback of the older ship. They were much smaller than the HC bathrooms in cabins on newer ones; however, there still was a roll-under sink and a roll-in shower.
