Auckland- day tours

Recommended Posts

The hop on hop off bus seems like the best option for my family. This goes from right near the port. It's $45 per adult and $20 per child. It stops at all major attractions including a transport museum which little boys between the age of 7-70 will love.

William would love MOTAT, Esilef.

Also consider taking the ferry across to Devonport. From there you can walk up North Head where there are old fortifications from WW2. You used to be able to walk through a couple of the tunnels (take a torch) and there is a disappearing gun emplacement. The views over the harbour are great too.

I'm sure William will love the transport museum - MOTAT.

His grandfather will have a good excuse to act like a kid again with him.

They would love the old WW2 sites as well. Very into military hardware (dad worked for the military).

So much to do in Auckland, so little time.

Lucky my father will be there 6 weeks prior on the Queen Elizabeth. 😀
