Do you know if its very popular for lunch? Do tables get filled up fast? Or will we be able to decide spontaneously during the cruise?

Lunch availability is generally luck o' the draw. If you can plan, it is better to make a reservation, however, there is no harm in trying on the spur of the moment. Frequently that has worked for me.

One exception to that is the day that there is a cooking class. The people who participate in that get lunch in the Pinnacle as part of the class, and it tends to reduce the number of seats others can claim.
