  1. The couch or chair is really only for a small child. If I problem, I would upgrade asap.
  2. I didn’t need an mri. Had routine x-ray when I got home and it was very evident that I had a metatarsal fracture
  3. We had a surfside family suite- so disappointed. Would have rather had a sky Jr. suite. Near elevators. I did a review- But IMO Icon class for young families-
  4. We are diamond plus and in a suite- also with a few ports , find a drink package not worth it. We get 5 free alcoholic drinks anywhere on the ship, plus beer, water, wine soda all day in the suite lounge. Unlimited Alcholic drinks from 5-8 every evening. Not worth any drink package for us. We don't even drink the 5 "free" alcoholic drinks during the day.
  5. That is why I love the set up of the buffet on Celebrity Cruise ships. The newer ships have many stations, eliminating lines- But so do many Royal ships. The old rust buckets are like school cafeterias- Hate those. Also hate when people don't wash (what do they do when exiting the bathroom?), and uses utensils or their hands then start eating from their plate on line yuk- not a big fan of buffets unless first to get food.
  6. Actually we sail on both lines. IMO Celebrity a better value. When you book, you have an option to include the drink package and wifii. It is worth it to upgrade when booking. The wifii works well- especially on new ships. Tips used to be included also in the rate- but no longer. We like cabins near the elevator and ideally with cabins above and below. Not sure if the oceanview cabins are at this location. I also wouldn't like a guarantee as I am fussy about the location and deck of the cabin and IMO worth it to pay more for what we want. Enjoy your cruise.
  7. I would book the Silhouette- typically less kids- a more relaxed vacation. Love the lawn club grill specialty restaurant. Prefer the itinerary . Not really a fan of turkey.
  8. So true! Never go to the er in July. New interns begin their rotations! Lol
  9. Nothing is about all physicians. However one bad incident doesn’t instill confidence in the vetting process!
  10. Since a US hospital, insurance should cover. I would also suggest you speak to an attorney. I had an incident on a ship. I broke my foot- went to the medical center on board, the "physician" x-rayed etc. He said a sprain. Gave me a wheel chair and wrapped the foot- However when I got home, I went to my Dr. The foot was broken. I contacted the ship (celebrity) they had no record of me going to their Dr! They also never charged me anything. Not the best physicians IMO on the ships.
  11. Since we have 4 adults and one child we are interested in a van service that will take us from Nassau county NY to Port Liberty for a cruise. The cruise is nine days so we will have luggage, car seat for a toddler, stroller, etc. Parking seems expensive for two cars. Any suggestions regarding a van service and the cost roundtrip? Thanks.
