    I think you can object gratuity at guest relations on board. Gratuity is "monetary Thank you" for services provided. The argument that someone cleans, brings towels and water leads to a gratuity to be paid to someone who clean elevators, vacuum public areas, public bathooms, etc..???

    Testing before the cruise doesn't seem to be a valid element. Being vaccinated does not prevent transmission of COVID, or getting the virus. It might prevent some people from getting severe symptoms. It is up to everyone individually evaluate your own risk, and not to expect everyone around to accommodate. Any trip we take, we evaluate the risk. At least for now - no TA or European cruises.

    Celebrity are aiming Millennials for cruising, but none of them have patience to wait on the phone for hours. They will go someplace else. When X start to loose business, something will change. Non-responsive CS will make me think twice to book complete vacation with Celebrity, including flights, hotels, tours. God forbid I need to do some changes to my trip.

    I was always under impression that $50.00/pp charge was a service charge ( gratuity). And now Celebrity is charging gratuity on top of gratuity.

    My understanding was on March 28, when I booked 3 cruises on board that if you book before March 31- CWC program covers you thru 12/31/22. Will be very disappointed if they will not honor it.

    All it is in the math and preferences. We booked 11 days Carib for Xmas and New Year back in March - balcony cabin with Premium perks and $800 OBC with refundable deposit for $6341. Today - under new promo- cruise only with NRD - $5978 for the same category cabin. If we want to prepay gratuity and have refundable deposit, it will be an additional $1000. No brainer..

    Thank you all for your experiences and opinions in regards IV. The only one reason we book verandas is to enjoy fresh ocean air. I see IV makes it complicated . Will check out Sunset verandas.

    Thinking of booking a cruise on Beyond, but not sure about infinity balcony. Please tell me what you like or don't like about infinity verandas. Thank you for your input.

    I have 4 cruises booked - all with AL, 2 this year with Prem AL + OBC. After checking different variations, adding gratuity and refundable depost $$ - not much difference in price, 1 cruise is even cost more with 60% off. Go figure.

    If it is anything like FB - you would not be able to post pictures, videos, etc. Connection on some ships is not even strong for emails.

    I was told by Celebrity in the past that I cannot change NRD booking to Refundable Deposit booking without $100.00/pp change fee
