Large crowds is number one reason we don't sail on large ships, but having Haven suite seems like a good alternative to have peace and quiet.

Life is all about different experiences after all. We sailed exclusively with Celebrity for 15 years and had a great cruise last March, but we had to cancel 3 cruises due to health issues. After hearing so much about cut backs everywhere, decided to try something new. Will see. We are sailing in May and will be happy to come back with my 2 cents.

Our decision to book Haven was based on trying something new and different from Celebrity. We enjoy cruising with some expectation of what we have heard and read from different sources. ==============

Well, we decided to give it a try. Booked Haven suite - seems everybody have great experience sailing in Haven. Would you recommend to book shows now or when we get onboard? Great recommendations from everyone.

I thought NCL is not allowing to bring water on board.

If you are keeping the same cruise, you will have same booking #. Keep checking the price for category you want.

I agree with all comments. Not everybody like same things. We are not drinkers, so $1200?? beverage package is irrelevant to us, but we enjoy Persian Garden on X ships, and my husband has to have unlimited wifi. So, RocketMan275 to your point, why not give customer a choice what they would like to have.? Celebrity used to have that option. Thermal spa should be included for Haven guests for the price they pay. I was shocked by the price of 2days pass - $129/pp. All is taken under consideration.

I would like to thank you all for great input, that helped me to understand what is Haven. Still make me wonder as wonderful experience is, why Haven is not fully ALL inclusive. 150 min free internet is useless. So adding for unlimited Wifi, all gratuity, Spa Thermal passes increased our price by almost 30%. So, we are "digesting" all and comparing with other options.

That will be too easy 😉 and logical.

Just wait.... Celebrity will change that also.

Just finished reading the "Haven" blog - fantastic. Very informative. How extensive menu for dinner in Haven since it is fixed? Where to find out what is included in Premium beverage package? How much is Daily service charge for Haven per day/person? Thank you again.

We cruised a lot over the years - Celebrity most exclusively in the past 15 years. Cruised with RC and Princess in the past. Thinking about booking Haven PH suite. Please tell me what to expect. This will be our first time on NCL. I am kinda foodie , I know food is very subjective. What to expect from Haven - food and service? What specialty restaurant is offering the best experience for a special anniversary dinner? Any additional tips and information are very appreciated.

It sounds like Club suites are somewhat similar to Celebrity Concierge Class. CC class perks has no value to me. Used to X AQ class, but late drastic price increase is prompting me look for other options. Thank you all for your input.

Celebrity cruiser is considering NCL. I have trouble finding what free perks are included with Club suites and Haven suites, such as dining in Specialty restaurants, access to Spa, free water, dining in Haven restaurant etc..Any information is greatly appreciated.

Unless it has changed, no children under 16 can be booked in AQ. About 7 years ago, I was booked solo, travelling with friends and was able to book my friend's granddaughter in my cabin only because she turned 16 before the cruise.

Only until next cruise, which might be on different cruseline.

Very disappointing to read about all these negative changes at Celebrity. Doesn't looks like a luxury line anymore, nor ever was. But enjoyed X product. We had such a great cruise last March. Food was great. I used to enjoy good food at MDR and Murano, also OVC for lunch. Now we will have to wait to see how many more negative reviews will come out after all these changes, before we book another cruise with X. Celebrity might over doing it. Prices are up, quality is down = customer loss. Not complicated math.

Worth it for not more than $30.00/pp per day. Otherwise, we prefer specialty restaurants.. Persian Garden on M class not worth anything.

Last cruise we were on was in March. We ate in MDR and Murano. Food was very good, as in pre Covid era. It will be disappointing to look for different cruise line, since most prices are much higher than used to be. Doesn’t look like any thing in Blu worth $6500 for 9 days in the Caribbean .
