  1. Trixiegal--

Thanks for the review! We are off on the Sunshine in 3 weeks, on the very-same itinerary. Can't wait!

What were your thoughts on the Jolly Roger Sunset Cruise Was there swimming, and rope swinging? Or just sailing? I have 2 teen/tweens so am thinking of booking this....maybe.

    Thanks!--CeleBrat

Yes, they did the rope swinging for a short period of time before it got too dusky. It wasn't too hot out that day so I was afraid my kids were getting cold without towels but they dried off quickly in the warm breeze. Don't forget the towels like we did. [emoji15]

  2. When is everyone planning on cruising the Vista? Europe? Tranalantic? Out of NY? Or will you wait for its home port?

I'm really excited to cruise on the Vista, but I'm thinking I may wait until it reaches its home port. I'm hoping it will be a southern itinerary.

Maybe the breeze prices will go down now. :D

I'm also hoping for a Southern Caribbean itinerary. I think we will shoot for 2018 since we want to do a Med cruise in 2017.

  3. Nassau, Bahamas and The British Colonial Hilton

Thank you everyone for the nice replies! I wish I had been able to post this part up sooner but that little thing called work likes to get in the way!

I think I have been to Nassau three times before this trip (all via cruising), and I've never had the "worst port ever" experience that many on these boards speak of in regards to Nassau. I wasn't particularly wowed either. Memorable things I've done in Nassau before are a Stingray Excursion and walking all over town on a "self-guided walking tour" I found online - I thin it was Frommers. I took the Stingray Excursion through RCCL years ago and I'm not sure if it's still available, but it consisted of being picked up at the port by a small catamaran, going to a small private island, being given a bucket of fish heads and tossed in the water with stingrays. The fish heads were gross, the stingrays were large, and I think I poked one in the eye. The water was freezing in the winter and I might as well have been feeding seal parts to whales....so yeah, knew I didn't really want to do that again. The self-guided walking tour takes you to a few well known Nassau landmarks (including and it was completely safe, but not worth doing twice. If you chose to do it, be warned that there's a lot of stray, extremely skinny dogs running in packs all over Nassau. They're not aggressive, but will probably make your girlfriend, daughter, mother, or any puppy lovin' individual very sad. Other than that, I've gone to Junkanoo Beach and some of the aquariums at Atlantis. If you've gone to the Georgia Aquarium or Shedd, you probably won't be impressed with Atlantis's aquarium offerings, but it could be worth a look if you're there for something else. I thought Junkanoo Beach was perfectly fine as far as being a nice, sandy beach....but I could NOT STAND the constant harassment by vendors. Perhaps if the beach was longer it would not be as much of an issue, but I couldn't get past it. I've also gone to Senor Frogs multiple times...which is not always so memorable

This all brings me to the plans for Nassau for this cruise - The British Colonial Hilton (BCH). Gems like this place are where Cruise Critic really comes in handy. I simply spent a little time reading the Ports of Call section of the CC Boards and kept seeing the small, quiet BCH show up as a nice place to spend the day. Several others looked nice too, but the two main factors that pushed me to choose the BCH were 1) It's completely walkable from the cruise port and 2) your day pass gives you back some of your money in the form of a voucher that you can use on food or alcohol.

Pre-Booking the Day Pass: There are two ways you can reserve a day pass at the BCH and both cost exactly the same. One is through Resort For A Day Dot Com and the other is through Bahamas Cruise Excursions Dot Com. It's only $12 to reserve a day pass online, and you will pay the remainder ($48) when you arrive at the BCH. You'll pay the $48 directly to BCH so you won't need to stop anywhere first. My only advice would be to book a little early to make sure that you can get a day pass, especially if it's a holiday week/weekend or a popular time of the year for vacations. I'm hesitant to purchase to book any non- cruise line sponsored excursions way in advance, primarily because I know that the refund process will be harder than it is with the cruise line. Carnival, for example, lets you cancel and get a full refund for your excursion for any reason, at any time, leading up to the day of the excursion. You can request the refund online without any hassle. However, there's no guarantee of this for any outside vendors. For example, what if the weather forecast is looking awful? What if I break my leg a week before the cruise and decide to still go and just nurse the blues away at Senor Frogs (I know someone who did just this) ? Anyhow, this caused me to put off booking a day pass at BCH and by the time I went online to do, about a week before the cruise, one of the sellers was sold out! Luckily the other vendor had 2 passes available.

Getting there: I just wanted to throw this in there for those who may not have been to Nassau before. I had a good idea of where the BCH is, but if you're not sure...Google an image of the BCH before your trip and get a good idea of what the building look like. Then, just go on the top deck of your ship in the morning before you head into Nassau, and look for the building. IT'S THAT CLOSE. You'll see it and yes, the beach looks very tiny from your ship...but don't let that discourage you. After you've gotten a good idea of where the BCH is, just head in the direction of that building when you exit the port area. It's easily visible during the entire walk.

When you get to the BCH, you'll need to head to check-in just like a regular hotel guest. They were able to look me up by last name and I had to pay by Credit Card. I haven't seen any mysterious charges so I'll go ahead and say that went smoothly. After paying, you'll receive armbands and two vouchers - one for checking out towels and one for paying for your drinks and food. Then, you're free to head outside to their property.

For detailed pictures and descriptions, just look at Trip Advisor, which has plenty of reviews. The only things I'll throw in are my opinions... We were some of the first to arrive and the beach area was a mess when we got there. It literally looked like a storm or large party had overtaken the beach area the night before...no trash, but the lounge chair cushions were ALL over the beach, chairs were toppled over, tables and umbrellas turned over, etc. It didn't bother us, but I could see how some could be turned off. We simply tidied up a small area, plopped down our towels on chairs (we didn't bother renting towels) under an umbrella and RELAXED. If there's anything positive about the mess, it meant that the chairs weren't all crowded and shoved up next to each other like you might find at Grand Turk or at Carnival's island in Nassau (Balmoral Island).

I loved how quiet it was for the entire day... NO MUSIC at all. The only sounds were the waves and occasional ambulance siren (it is in the middle of a city after all). You might also hear the occasional hoot or holler from Senor Frogs, as well as drills for cruise ship crews (yes, it's that close to the ships) but it's not bad at all. WAY better than hearing "Who Let The Dogs Out?" or other bad songs of the 90s blaring in your ears all day. This place is also pretty self-service, which I appreciated. You won't have waiters coming up to you, but you'll get great service if you go to order drink or food from the bar (near the pool) and you're welcome to bring either back to your beach chair. The drinks and food are expensive, but we felt that the pass's $48 worth of food and drink per person was fulfilling. I had more pictures but they're stuck in the internal memory of my ancient Olympus Tough waterproof camera and I lost the connection cable...but here's what I found on my memory card:

We had to be back on board by 4 or 5pm, so I believe we probably left the BCH at around 2:30pm (after getting there at about 8:30a.m.) and felt the pass was worth it for that short time period. I can't think of any excursions that looked worthwhile in Nassau that cost a total of $60 per person and included alcohol. Plus, the hassle of not having to take a boat, taxi or bus anywhere was greatly appreciated by us. We even had enough time left with our day to stop at Senor Frogs. I think that going to Senor Frogs late in the day has several advantages : 1) if you get there early you'd probably be three sheets to the wind by afternoon and might miss the boat, 2) you won't be too drunk to laugh your ass off at all the people who DO fall into that category. :D Senor's is a little pricey, but me and my boyfriend tend to pick whatever yard drink looks like it has the most alcohol, AKA bang for your buck, and sip casually while observing the chaos around us.

That night back on board was uneventful, except for me getting seasick. I still contribute this to a certain factor, but it's nothing I could change. Every night we had dinner in the main dining room, which is on a low deck..deck 3 or 4? Every night, the dining room was shaking and rocking and rolling like a scene from Titanic was about to unfold. I put up with it the first few nights and was only mildly queasy. On this night, I suppose my stomach had all it could take and I only barely made it through dinner without humiliating myself (and probably looking like I had too much at Senor Frogs). I didn't even mention it during dinner as I kept telling myself I could get over it and be just as happy and smiling as everyone around me...but as soon as I made it back to the cabin...ugh. After expelling dinner, I was probably sleeping by 9:30 p.m. The only upside was that I got PLENTY of sleep and apparently missed a loud Lido deck party that could be heard clearly in our cabin, according to the boyfriend.

Next up is the final port of call, Freeport!

Please come back and finish! This is an AWESOME review. I always ignore cruises that go to the Bahamas because I feel like I've "been there, done that" but you made me look at it differently. I also need any excuse to book another Carnival cruise....

  4. Did you end up paying for breakfast? We will likely have breakfast on the ship

No, breakfast was included if we ate at the buffet. The Medi restaurant also offers a la carte selections but they weren't included in the day pass.

  5. great review! You answered a lot of my questions re food and serenity deck. We will be on the Halloween cruise and will be staying in a spa interior. I wanted to go to the ji ji but I don't think small portions will cut it with 3 boys.:)

Thank you! It's really nice and quiet on the Serenity side and easy access to everything via the open decks or the forward elevators. We were actually booked in a spa interior at first but changed to the OV on Deck 5 when one became available right before final payment.

  6. Which restaurant served the buffet? Were both breakfast and lunch a buffet? Did you see what the cost of the buffet was if you weren't on the day pass? What type drinks were included out by the pool? Were there food options other than the buffet?

    Thanks!

It was called Medi. The pool bar was called Splash. Both were included. I didn't look for the buffet price but the waiter was confused about what to give us on a day pass, so he brought us a la carte menus at first. The prices were all over $10 for the breakfast items. It's a really nice buffet with a lavish spread.

Breakfast consisted of bacon, ham, eggs, eggs benedict, home fries, assorted breads and pastries, oatmeal, fruit display, etc.

Lunch was hot and cold items: grilled chicken, salmon, tilapia, a carving station (no one was there to serve it to me when I walked up but I think it was ham or pork), pasta, soup, sliced meats and cheese for sandwiches with premium breads, assorted desserts and a salad bar.

Any drink you wanted was included. I asked for dark rum and the guy pulled out Jose Cuervo, so I don't know if they were picky about premium drinks or not. I was mostly drinking rum punches and my DD had pina coladas. The bartenders were super friendly!

  7. I just went a few weeks ago. It was a fantastic day and very worth the price since it includes transportation and unlimited food and drinks. I was a little bummed about the time but it was more than enough time to enjoy the pool, the beach and grab breakfast AND lunch at their buffet. You have to remember it's 40 minutes away so we had to have enough time to get back to the port.

  8. I just posted this extensive review on the main site and wanted to share it on the boards. Please feel free to ask away about any questions you have about the Sunshine. I don't have many pictures because we took them on our Iphones but I can share some that may be helpful if I'm asked a question. Thanks and enjoy!

    ************************************************************

I booked this 4th of July cruise to celebrate my DS' 16th birthday. I booked on the Early Saver rate back in October 2014 and thought I would get many price drops. Nope, didn't happen but I did pay what I thought was totally worth it for an 8 night Southern Caribbean cruise to ports we've never been to before. This was our 3rd Carnival cruise after cruising RCCL and Disney. We really, really liked the Sunshine. I admit I was kind of nervous after reading some extremely negative reviews. But I'm a pretty active member of the message boards and saw a lot of recent posts from cruisers who absolutely love her. I went in with an open mind and we had one of the best cruises we've ever had.

    EMBARKATION~

We have family in the area, so we only had to rent a car to get to their house and then the port the next day but not worry about a hotel. We got an email from Carnival saying the Sunshine was slightly delayed due to a medical emergency and to come to the port after 2 pm. That was perfect because I had a few last-minute errands to take care of before getting on the ship for more than a week. I dropped off the fam at the port then hurried back down the road to Avis to drop off the car. Thankfully, there were no lines and there was a shuttle waiting to take a busload back to Port Canaveral. We jumped in line and were through security in no time. The most time spent was in the line before checking in at Guest Services. But it took less than 15 minutes to get up front. I give Carnival credit for moving things along efficiently and expediently. We were onboard and excitedly walking the ship in another 15-20 minutes.

    CABIN & SHIP LAYOUT~

Many of the bad reviews focus on the Sunshine's weird layout but, having been on a few different cruise lines, it was pretty typical to me. We were at the aft on Deck 5 so it was no issue for us to get up to Lido or down to the Sunrise dining room via the aft elevators or the stairs. So we didn't have to walk through the casino unless we wanted to go the shops or the Liquid Lounge. And we never saw a show so we didn't go that way too often. The Sunshine is smaller than the Dream or Breeze but, IMO, makes good use of the space it has available.

My family spent almost every single morning in the Havana Bar at the aft of the ship on Deck 9. It's an awesome place to sit, relax and watch the wake. On both sides are Jiji's Asian Kitchen and Cucina Del Capitano. There are made-to-order omelettes, juices, coffee (including Cuban coffee for a fee) and Latin specialities like empanadas and flan (no charge). It's literally a few steps away from the Lido Marketplace buffet, which we found to be kind of on the small side yet it worked well on the Sunshine. It's probably because there are so many places to eat on the ship that the Lido area is manageable. I liked the seating in the Marketplace because it's bright and airy but it did get hot near the front where people were coming and going from the pool deck. We would eat there after getting pizza and always found a spot.

The Serenity 3-deck area is amazing and not as crowded and packed people may tend to assume. You have to actually walk up there beyond the clamshells facing the main Lido pool and see how wonderful and peaceful it actually is on a daily basis. I'm not an early morning pool goddess so we usually hung out up there after 1 or 2 pm on sea days and found many, many places to sit or lounge. And this was true even when Deck 12 was closed due to high winds. Just explore the area and see for yourself.

Same thing goes for the Limelight Lounge where they host the comedy club. It boggles my mind that people think it is so small, when I felt like it was bigger than the comedy club on the Breeze. Just get there early and wait in line. It wasn't a big deal but requires scheduling and planning. Otherwise, just go to another show. There were over 24 comedy shows during our cruise!

I did a cabin review, too, on our OV cabin 5335. I liked Deck 5 for convenience but I missed having a balcony. It would've been heaven to have an aft balcony. Next time! We loved our steward, Farouk, and he was very friendly, helpful and QUICK. I could tell he was impatient with us a few sea days to get out of the room around 10 am and going to dinner after 7:30 pm. I understand they have a schedule they want to keep so I tried to be mindful. I'd rather have a clean cabin than not. I swear he was in our room cleaning 3-4 times a day. That helps when you have such a small space to live in.

    ACTIVITIES~

We are laidback cruisers and like to take each sea day as it comes, so I did what I felt like doing at the time. Jaimie Dee gets HIGH marks for being the super-duper bestest CD ever and she seemed okay. I'm just not too into the whole CD fan club thing, except I do like when he's a handsome guy (Matt on the Breeze). Anyway, all the standard Carnival offerings were there to enjoy- tea time, champagne art auction, trivia, karaoke, bingo and pool deck contests.

The Lido was jumping on sea days and everybody was having a good time. Music wasn't too loud. We can't ever seem to get to the trivia on time, so caught the tail-end of the Broadway trivia in the Ocean Plaza. We really enjoyed the Frogfest live performances in Red Frog Pub. The guy that was singing seemed to love Stevie Wonder songs almost as much as me. He was fantastic! The comedians were alright. The ones on the Breeze last year were a lot funnier. I wasn't mad that I went, though. I enjoyed the whole vibe with the host, Noonan, and I laughed a little. I even won a small chunk of change on one of the slot machines in the beginning of the week. I gave 1/2 of it back by the end of the week before I realized the scam. Other people were complaining that the slots were tight. We did not go to the shows or step foot in the Liquid Lounge. I did love sitting on deck for the movies. We watched Captain America 2 and The Fault in our Stars. Nothing compares to sitting on the Serenity deck loungers and watching a good movie in the nighttime sea breeze.

My DS usually hangs out all day and night in Circle C and Club O2 but he made friends the first night that he hung out with all over the ship. He was probably one of those big groups some cruisers complained about hanging out on the steps or in front of the elevators. I peeked into the Club O2 room and it was tiny compared to the ones on the Dream and the Breeze, like it was an afterthought. So I don't blame the teens for not wanting to squeeze in there. Didn't seem like it was too organized with fun activities on this ship either.

    DINING~

So much food, so little time! Everything was very good on the Sunshine. Guy's Burger's and Blue Iguana's breakfast burritos were delicioso, as usual. Wasn't as impressed with the pizza like my last time on a Carnival ship. They seemed different and not as flavorful but the crust was tasty. The MDR was always busy but we got in and out for dinner within an hour or so. The WCMC was served in a smaller bowl and fudgier. Also, not as good as I remembered. All of the desserts were forgettable this time, even my son's birthday cake ordered in Cherry on Top. I loved the shrimp cocktail as my appetizer. My most memorable meal was, believe it or not, the Chateaubriand. That steak was AMAZING! Almost made up for not spending the $$$ to go to the steakhouse like we normally do. The thing is, Carnival MDR meals are like going to Olive Garden. Some meals are fantastic and some are just okay but definitely satisfying. The buffet was pretty good in the morning, decent for lunch and not good for dinner. The BLT that I had for room service was great. Wish I had remembered to get another one. We went to Jiji's on the last night and the service was surprisingly lacking. And the dishes were small even though they stressed it was family style. Yes, it's only $15 but I expected more. I really liked the spicy shrimp dish and the fried rice. Can't remember the names. I didn't like the desserts they offered. Doubt I would go again.

    PORTS~

We went to Aruba, Curaçao and Grand Turk. I picked this cruise specifically for the ports and were were excited to finally get to them. We didn't get off with the early risers or the anxious folks but we did leave within an hour after docking at the ports. It was a fairly seamless process and less crowded than I thought with a sold out ship. The staff kept the lines moving and we were off the ship in minutes. I booked my shore excursions online for Aruba and Curaçao to save money and we had no issues whatsoever. In fact, I want to go back to stay at the Santa Barbara Resort where I booked for all-inclusive day passes in Curaçao. It was the highlight of our week, except for when my son got stung by stepping on a bee at the end of the day. Lesson learned to always have on flip flops!

Aruba was windy and cloudy but we weren't bothered because I had booked the sunset cruise on the Jolly Rogers pirate ship. I had a feeling that the 1 pm port time would mean the daylight would be gone quicker than I had imagined and didn't want to waste money on tours or day passes for 4-5 hours. We got dropped off at Eagle Beach by paying $5 each for a beach bus and lounged around at Passions Bar under their beachfront shade palapas. There were barely any people there, so it was calm and relaxing. We took a van up to Moomba Beach for another $2/person and ate at Moomba Beach Bar & Restaurant before getting on the sunset cruise.

Grand Turk was my DS birthday so I wanted to get him on a jet ski. Well, there were no jet skis on the beach in Grand Turk. It was extremely and obnoxiously loud at Margaritaville and the drinks were expensive but not good IMO. Only 1 or 2 of the frozen concoctions in the machines were available. We decided to walk up the beach to Jack's Shack and ended up having a blast. It really is a fun place to hang out for a few hours. So laidback and has a cool beach vibe without the pretensions of Margaritaville. My DS ran into friends and they decided to do the big inflatable couch water boat ride that pulls you fast across the ocean. Be warned, it does not have seat belts. He had to hold on for dear life or get thrown off in the middle of the ocean. All in all, we had so much fun my family was one of the last to leave to head back towards the ship.

    DISEMBARKATION~

We kept our luggage with us and tried to be off the boat before 9 am. The lines were long but they were moving. It's always a zoo getting off any ship so I'm prepared to be patient. Customs was a breeze. My patience was tested by Budget in Cocoa Beach, so I'm glad I was in a good mood. It took us an hour to get picked up by the shuttle and more than an hour to rent a car once we got to the local office. It was soooooo bad. I didn't leave Cocoa Beach until noon. Budget just needs a better system to deal with all of the reservations from cruisers. They definitely need more than one shuttle picking and dropping off at the port.

This cruise cemented my love and loyalty for Carnival. I've been on 3 cruises and I really do like the product for the value. My kids are teenagers and we fit right in with the fun crowd on these ships. It's actually becoming like a tradition to go on a Carnival cruise in the summer. Thanks to Carnival for creating many memories for us to cherish and laugh about with each other. Yes, we have many inside jokes that reference our Carnival cruises.

  9. We really liked the Red Frog Pub on this ship. It was nice to sit in there in the evening and listen to the talented performers. The drinks were good, too, especially if you prefer rum like I do. I noticed a lot of the ship's performers in there. Seemed like a lowkey place to unwind without the crowds.

  10. trixigal, glad you had a good time ... we sure did too.

When we checked in at the front desk they gave a sheet of everything that was included in our package and gave us a red wrist band for the day. We were told that was our pass for the day and the staff (bar, food and towels) all recognized it and did not ask us for any other details as we enjoyed the amenities. I believe the sheet indicated that water activities were available on a cash basis.

We just ran an open tab at the pool bar with our last name and no questions were asked, but glad it all worked out for you. Like you we found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. In fact, the resort bar manager stopped by during lunch to chat with us and make certain that we were being well cared for during our visit.

We also received the wristbands but we didn't get a sheet telling us what or wasn't included. They gave us a small map and verbal instructions on where to go. I will say the gentleman who checked us in had many questions for his manager and didn't seem to sure of the process. We were anxious to get onto the resort so I took what he gave us and we were on our way. I just wanted to let others know to make sure the front desk is clear on the entire day pass process because some employees seemed confused when we didn't have a room number.

  11. we are looking at booking a cabin in that area trixiegal .It looks very convienent to just pop your head out to the promenade at dinner time to see if there is much of a line for the your time dining .Was there any noise at all back there ?

Not really any noise except for the normal noises with people leaving their cabins in the morning and evening. It was fairly quiet back there. I just loved being so close to the Ocean Plaza and the aft elevators that took us up to the Lido deck. My son loved that is was so easy to get to Club O2.

As a side note, we had an awesome steward team. I can never get names right and it becomes a inside joke with my family. My kids had to correct me every time I tried to say their names. Anyway, the lead steward kept our cabin so clean and stocked with extra towels all week. He was in the cabin 3-4 times a day!

  12. I'm going to do a more extensive review, as my family and I were on this sailing as well, but I had to commend you for all of the details you've given on the Sunshine. It brought back some fond memories of last week. I swear I'm going through withdrawal not being on that boat anymore!

I liked the Sunshine... a lot! All of the complaints seem to have been blown out of proportion. I thought they did an excellent job of utilizing the space they had to revitalize a mid size ship. This is NOT the Dream or the Breeze. We've been on both so I was scared a little about the Sunshine FKA as the Destiny. However, we had an absolute blast and felt quite at home after the first night. It helped to have an aft room on Deck 5... 5335. Amber is so right, Deck 5 is your friend on this ship!

  13. Omgosh.... Santa Barbara Resort was FANTASTIC!!!! I love CC for giving me this recommendation for an excursion in Curaçao because we had the BEST time there last week. Totally, totally worth the $99!!!!!

It is a long ride out there, about 40-45 minutes. But they checked us in quickly and we were able to get breakfast at the buffet within a half hour. The food was really, really good. We also ate lunch in the buffet right before we left at 2:45 pm. And the service was impeccable. Bring cash to tip because you can't charge it to your bill since the code they give you isn't attached to a room on the property.

Make sure you ask questions about how the day pass works before you leave the front desk. Most of the staff was unable to answer those kind of questions. But they did make an effort to find out if they didn't know. Only issue was with getting a towel but the guy just gave it to us after we told him we were on the day pass.

The drinks were nice and strong. The bartenders were happy to make whatever we wanted.

It wasn't that crowded at the pool. They had big lounge beds you can rent but, once again, you have to pay with cash. There were great views of the ocean there. The bay beach area had loungers available if you walked down toward the pier with the yachts. We spent most of the day in the water. There were inflatable floats available. My kids were told they could use the paddle boards with no additional fee. After more than a hour, a nice boy came to get them and apologized that we were given the wrong info. I don't know how much they were supposed to cost but my son was given a price of $15 for the kayaks. I didn't think it was worth it because the inlet area is not that big.

It was such a fabulous and enjoyable day! I wish we could've stayed overnight and had more time to walk the resort. My DD said we have to go back to stay at the property for a week.

  14. I copied this from an old thread. This tells you all that you need to know:).

The only "guaranteed" shade on Eagle Beach are the limited number of umbrellas offered for rent from the vendors on the beach at La Cabana.

Otherwise your options are as follows:

    Eagle Beach

    Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort

Taxi fare $13 each way for a maximum of 5 people, with an additional $3 charge on Sundays & holidays

    Beach chair rental

Just got back from Eagle Beach last week and we rented chaise loungers under shade palapas. We were right beyond Passions Beach Bar. It was a really nice area with great service, too. We had a late port of call so we got there after 2 pm. The guy managing the palapas let us pay him after 3 pm when the chaise loungers go down to $5/each from $15/each. I gave him a tip.

Passions had clean bathrooms and a cool outdoor lounge area next to the bar. It was not crowded on the day we went. The drinks were good (strong) and about $6-7 each.

I highly recommend this area for a relaxing beach day that won't break the bank!

  15. Well...I've found what will probably be my signature summer scent for the foreseeable future. If you're looking for something to buy the man in your life check out Terre d'Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche. I loved the original but this is summer in a bottle to me. Search over!

Yes! That's a good one but kind of obscure. Great find for you!
