OP, did you use your Iphone for the underwater pics as well? Is it the new 6? I agree my 5C doesn't take pictures anywhere close to yours :) Glad you had a great time. We are one her Feb 15 sailing.
-
Thank you both. I was there two years ago and the shuttle guys got us. It had multiple stops. Glad for the explicit instructions.

Does anyone know the cost of a taxi (each way) to the Malhaula (sp)?
-
Depends on the club manager. 15 DD was aloud with us for one ship but not another.

A teen under 16 Paradise beach is great. 16-19 Dune buggies. We've done both and enjoyed them. In February we are doing the dune buggies again. It includes snorkeling, lunch, State Park, Tequila Museum, but some one in your party must know how to drive standard. We had guys in one with my husband driving and girls in the other with me driving :) Had to get used to shifting (it was different looser than my Miata).

I'm dancing with you OP! We're also on the Pride Feb 15~!

We have done Pirates zip lining only and the cost of transportation was included. You had to exit the terminal and walk up a steep hill (with everyone else) and there was a small bus to take you to the lines. We enjoyed it so much that we are doing it again in Feb.

We'll be on her in February and can't wait. I'm glad for the video screen. We enjoy a late night movie under the stars.

Zip Lining

We did Pirates two years ago and it was fantastic.

The first time we were in Cozumel another Carnival ship was also docked nexted to us. The table next to us (with dancers on the table) asked us which ship we were on so we could let them know when to leave! It was at Fat Tuesdays. Our kids (then 14 and 11) still talk about it.

Watch out because the pier can start to sway!
-
Believe it or not, the Triumph (before it's mishap). Our dinner waiters made out cruise!
-
I took my son and daughter (they both lift) and had no problems other than there are not a lot of free weights or a weight bench (it was what they are used to).
-
That sounds almost exactly like our dune buggy trip we took two years ago. We loved it so much we are doing it again.

Was on the Splendor 4/10 and we were lucky to have a non Carnival band, Jimmy and the Parrots, cruising with us. They played twice in El Morocco and then on the Lido the last sea day. They were fantastic. (google them) Played a little bit of everything.

My family and I went there two years ago and had a great time at the beach in front of their restaurant. They were two brothers, their wives, and children from the Mid-west that owned it. We are going again in Feb '15 and wondered if it is still there. The restaurant was right next to the Harbor Master.

I will be on the Splendor and will miss our seder. I'm Lutheran and our Pastor introduced it to us about 7 years ago. I enjoy the entire story. We end with ritual foot washing done by our Pastor. A very humble experience. I will look in our funtimes to see if someone will be hosting it.

5 1/2 days for me and 43 friends!

Our last 4 cruises have been all 4 in a room. DS is now 17, DD 15. It's tight be very do able.

Will be "kicking" you off when you return so we can get on! Looking forward to following your voyage.

Sue,
Your pictures are beautiful. What camera do you use?

This one works: ****************************/schiffsposition.php?schiff=carnival%20splendor
I have been watching them for a couple of weeks. 10 Days left 'til I'm on her!

As an 18 year yearbook advisor, I would not recommend their photographers. I have had shots come out blurry. I would also not advise the tacky backgrounds of sunsets or the ships railing. Go for shots at your ports with natural backgrounds. Just my two cents.

Was on her before her engine failure and loved her and her crew.

We are using pirates of the Caribbean again. We used them two years ago and it was fantastic. If you have any questions, fire away.
