Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I’ll give you a datapoint. Not a Carnival cruiser but got a casino offer from a status match in 9/2022 for balcony room, drinks for two while playing and $250 casino money. My options were extremely wide open with approximately 280 cruises up to 30 days in length. I booked a 14 day Alaska cruise for 9/2023. I earned 6128 points playing slots and 819 points playing table games. Cruise ended on 9/24 and on 10/13 I received a Carnival Players club email offer for 3 balcony, 3 ocean view and 3 interior rooms. All are free ($100 deposit x2 people converted to a $200 on board credit at booking), drinks for 2 while playing in the casino and the interior room included $200 in fun play. Must be booked by 10/31/2023 and options went from over 500 when I received the email to 250 after 24 hours and 58 by 36 hours so I’m guessing a lot of people got an email on the same date. You still pay the taxes, fees, gratuity etc like everyone else. I definitely lost a good amount of money earning almost 7K points (hadn’t looked maybe spent $4.5K) but I never gamble so for me it was a test to determine if I would want to do it again in the future and to see what kind of offers I’d get. Now I (and you) know and can plan accordingly. Good luck cause those machines are the tightest I’ve ever seen!
  2. I checked with executive casino host Noma about that and she let me know that website isn’t correct. She advised me the logo isn’t the correct one and even as a host they don’t know the secret formula. I thought I cracked the code as well, lol.
  3. I did it with Wynn, M-Life and Cosmo Platinum 10/22. Figured everyone burned out Caesar’s Diamond status. Go a balcony room offer up to 30 days, $250 free play credit and free drinks in the casino. Maybe it’s the ship (Miracle 14 day Alaska) or Carnival as a whole but I’m not impressed. Feel like I boarded the Spirit airlines of ships. Looks like MSC matches elite status levels so going to check out their benefits and reviews.
  4. Depending on how much assistance your son needs TSA has a program called TSA Cares. It’s an excellent program to help passengers that need additional assistance. They work with Make a Wish, Wounded Warriors, Give Kids the World, etc. With that said it’s TSA employees volunteering and they are taken off their regular position at the airport so it’s not something that everyone should use because TSA is already understaffed it pulls a person checking bags, patting people down, etc. It may not be available at your home airport however if you think you need it you can request the service. https://www.tsa.gov/contact-center/form/cares Alternatively, you could pay a skycap to use a wheelchair for your son. They normally get through the line faster and will assist you with your luggage. As mentioned TSA PreCheck is extremely helpful as you don’t have to remove shoes, liquids from bags etc. Both you and your son would need it to stay together.
  5. @RMcoolX there’s no set specific offer on any card it seems. Freedom Unlimited I got the 10% back up to $86 exp 9/16 and my Hyatt I got spend $100 get $35 back exp 9/17. I have 6 other Chase cards with nothing.
  6. Is anyone using Fluz app for the 5% cashback or have a better way to double dip?
