Haven't been on Seashore but pretty much all of the bars do coffee. What you call liquor we call spirits so yes coffee with alcohol (they do them very well!).

Just clicked on the terms and it says 'for US residents only' so no good for us. What a shame.

A question for those who have booked with My Vegas, is the person who calls you someone who works for MSC or is it some type of agent. We are in the UK so just wondering if it would be the same here. DH used to play My Vegas but stopped, now I've told him we could get a discount on YC he's back playing again.

Yes, fruit juices are included on Easy Plus, Premium is just some more expensive wines and spirits. I think the apple juice is poured from a carton.

Yes they start to board early, you can be later than 11am though as long as you are there before boarding ends, no one checks.

I'm pretty sure that last year they specified, if you look through old threads on here you will probably find it. This year don't think they mention the amounts, when we embarked Virtuosa this year they really only glanced at the policy (we also highlighted the covid bit) whereas last year they read it more throughly. As long as you have cover I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Is your butler Kevin the same Kevin who was on Virtuosa last summer? He was not our butler but did escort us onto the ship last year, if so not at all surprised that he is very good.

We used Cover For You for our Virtuosa cruises this year and last year. From memory the level of cover is determined by the price of the cruise.

We were on Virtuosa a few weeks ago which I think is similar. We were on deck 16 which we loved as it's so close to TS lounge and the concierge desk. We chatted to a couple who were on deck 18, they should have been right near the front but when they boarded they had been moved further back (ship was half empty). They said their cabin was very quiet but were told the ones right at the front heard some noise from the restaurant late nights and early mornings.

Are masks currently required on MSC European sailings?
kernow replied to Stockjock's topic in MSC Cruises
They are not required for cruises out of Southampton don't know about other embarkation ports. Where are you looking at? -
Yes, that's the test we used, it was fairly easy, more so than I was expecting as it sounds more complicated! They are the same test as the NHS ones so you do it the same. No app required you just upload a photo to their website so do it on your phone. You get a unique reference number to use for each test, we used a separate email for each of us but I honestly don't know if you have to (probably not as you may be doing it for a young child). They emailed us the certificate back within a few minutes although it says it may take up to an hour. We printed off the certificates to make sure we had paper copies of everything for check in. Hope this helps.

I agree with you, we do usually give more but I thought them almost asking for it was a bit of a cheek.

If you are in YC you will have no trouble getting dining reservations, just ask the concierge to make them for you when you board.

Yes they do know. They get given a list of those who have prepaid. On an Indy cruise in 2019 we actually had this card left on our bed along with some extra envelopes.

We almost missed the ship in 2018 in a similar situation, funnily enough we were flying Heathrow to Rome to board Jewel for a TA. Flights were booked as a package with RCL UK. We were supposed to fly BA on a 7.30 am flight, flight began boarding normally and then they announced a fuel leak on the plane and everyone had to get off. They said flight would be delayed while they found another plane. We were in a panic and called the RCL emergency number, they told us not to worry, they were monitoring the situation and would hold the ship, if for some reason we were too late they would get us to the next port (Grand Canaria in 3 days time!). The flight ended up taking off at 11.30 am (we were actually just over 4 hours late so were able to claim compensation). On landing in Rome the RCL staff were amazing, a lady was waiting for us (only 4 of us) at the luggage carousel and already had her colleague looking for our bags. They rushed us out where they had a minibus waiting kerbside to take us to the ship. There was just one check in desk in the terminal open and waiting for us. We were straight onto the ship just as muster drill was taking place. Far too close for comfort for me but I couldn't believe we actually made it.
