  1. You have just proven your comment "Thanks for the endorsement!" in post #180!!!!
  2. "What they don't realize is that the Riff-Raff class represents 95% of the guests on the boat. But the elitist attitude is always entertainment at best. I make more money than 95% of them......." This comment is an insult and, as a result, includes you as a leading member of the Riff-Raff class!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I've bee wanting to ask this since I've seen your very first post. Do you still live in Maryland????
  4. Used to be is spot on. RCI continues to drag Celebrity down as they continue to focus on both filling and continue building their "Mega Ships".
  5. Thanks for your post. We are Elite Plus and are already having concerns about our upcoming January Apex sailing. If the food is anywhere near what you have described, this will also be our last Celebrity cruise. I know I've said this numerous times before but will say it once again......since RCI purchased Celebrity in 1997 it is amazing how "little by little" they have managed to destroy the Celebrity brand!!
  6. You might want to update your topic from "Nught" to Night".
  7. My recommendation is to stay on deck 11. There is lots of activity on deck 14 with the pools, Solarium and the Oceanview Cafe that can be extremely noisy.
  8. Elite Featured Benefits Access to exclusive daily coffee house-style breakfast and Evening Cocktail Hour 30% off Wi-Fi package or Wi-Fi upgrade 15% off Drink Package or upgrade to Premium pre-cruise Complimentary access to Persian Garden (on one port day) One complimentary bag of laundry (wash, dry, fold) on every sailing
  9. Don't give it a thought. I was taught by nuns in both Elementary & High School and, as a result, have the same mindset.
  10. Last comment before thread is closed. I completely agree with every one of your suggestions!!!!
  11. I'm basing my reply on the title of your post. RCCL (RCI) no longer as formal nights. Based on our July Oasis sailing, I would now call those nights...wear whatever you want because we no longer enforce or care what anyone wears!!!
  12. Had the same concerns before our first TA. Evening before we docked, we said our so-long sto the group of people (12 including) we spent much time with over the past 7 days. We ALL ageed....we never had so much fun being "bored" in our entire lives!!!!
  13. Took one European sailing 4 years ago on the Oceania Riviera, eating lobster tails for lunch every day for lunch, to win us over!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Recommendation from a 75 year old Grandmother of 8 who was recently in Nassau is to..... travel with the "baby's" car seat with you and don't consider for one moment travelling with your toddler on your lap!!
  15. We booked through the on-line TA. Our first dinner assignment was also 8:30 which wasn't going to work because my husband is a type 2 diabetic. Contacted our TA and we now have reservations for 6pm.
  16. Are you referring to a "perfect day at Cocoa Cay"? On our recent Oasis sailing, our perfect day was staying on the ship to avoid all the insanity of the over 6000 passngers on our ship plus the thousands of passengers on the Serenade docked next to us!!!!
  17. Will probaby get slammed for this but here goes....... While it's been a few years since sailing a transatlantic on Royal (previuosly sailed 2 Eastbound and 2 Westbound), the passenger demographic is definitely not the same demographic as those who take a 7 day cruise Caribbean cruise out of the US. And yes, I can defintely veryify this statement based on our recent early July sailing on the Oasis!!!
  18. Based on our recent July Oasis sailing the current dress code is......anything goes!!!
  19. Many of the reasons why our July Oasis sailing was "the straw that broke the camels back"!!! Diamond status is no longer an incentive to ever book with RCI again.
  20. Cruised Oasis end of June and Survey conveniently disappeard before I could anawer it. Only can assume Royal new they were going to get slammed with the results!!!☹️
  21. Where are they flying from??
  22. That's putting is mildly!!! I could go into detail and hit every area individually but that might open up "Pandora's box" of rebuttle comments both pro and con🤩.
  23. We were a group of 9 on the Oasis in July. I will geneously give the quality of MDR/Windjammer food a 5/10. and the dinner in Chops (that cost $650.00) a 7/10.
