Yes, we had that experience two days into our cruise just before we made Elite. We just went to see the Captain’s Club Hostess and she very kindly upgraded our Sea Pass to Elite.

You were lucky😉. We did the same 1st night paid for G a T at Martini Bar and had Hendricks gin…..tipped well. Next evening HH but we were given Beefeater offered to pay difference but was told cannot be done. Also that if they gave us anything other than drinks available on HH menu they would be sacked. A few colleagues across the fleet had been sacked for doing this.

We are Elite and friends Elite+, they were charged for coffee in June on embarkation day. They politely send the coffee back🤷‍♀️.

I got price drop last February for our up coming cruise in October which we had booked onboard the previous October. Was really surprised as we kept all our OBC 700$ just think we were lucky on the day with the agent. The price drop was an amazing 1500 Euro.

We were in Dubrovnik about 15 years ago and it was dirt cheap. Gorgeous seafood dinners with wine less than 20 Euro for two. But now everyone I know who goes there talks about how expensive it have become. Like you said it is drop-dead gorgeous, I remember the Croatia people were very kind. Your photos brought back many happy memories.

Fabulous review and photos. We did this cruise May 2022 North and South bound, the weather was spectacular. We love the Millennium the crew were all amazing. Would love to go back and do the land portion. Thank you for taking the time and bringing back loads of happy memories.

Looking forward to following along…..we have friends onboard in an Aqua Suite. We were supposed to join them but unfortunately family commitments got in the way. You have also given me lots of ideas for our next trip to London. Wishing you a great cruise.

I remember our hotel inside the walls had no air conditioning ( it was so hot) but the management were very kind. My husband left his man bag😂at reception with a lot of valuable and they delivered it next day to our hotel in Pisa. Enjoy Florence.

Disappointed to hear about your stateroom attendant hopefully you brought it to the attention of Guest Relations. Would love to sail some day in a suite if the price was right😉

Just let them know which fruit you wish to decline. Absolutely no problem the staff are all wonderful and will take great care of you. Enjoy your cruise.

Spend, Spend, Spend 🤣. We had 850 OBC on our last cruise. I bought sunglasses, make up and a very nice Coach bag. You can also use it for extra tips (if you wish ) by going to Guest Relations and they will assist you.

Great review and love that you both are taking everything in your stride…..yes, weather is very hot but you are being very sensible and taking lots of hydration breaks. Following along as we will be on the Reflection this October 1st time. Will definitely consider your hotel for our next Rome break.

Not up to last Saturday when we disembarked the Silhouette.

Entertainment was very good and very busy.

We were on the Silhouette for 12 night just home since Saturday. We dined in Blu and it was wonderful like you many times in Blu and sometimes got fed up. They must have a very good chef in Blu at the moment. Main dining was very busy definitely book a slot its anytime dining so you just turn up if no slot booked. My advise go to see the host on the door the moment you get onboard and try and arrange a time. Hope you have a great cruise.

I’ve had a couple of bad experiences in Blu in the past. The reason we did the MoveUp to Blu was because we had heard all the negative comments about cut back in the MDR and Ocean View. Sorry I went off topic (according to you) but credit where credit is due.

Blu last week on the Silhouette and the food was fantastic……we could order from the MDR if we felt the need. Lobster and Fillet Mignon available on Chic night we ordered both (surf and turf) no problem and it was delicious. We also had Fillet Mignon on the 1st night. We had very good fish Halibut and Sea Bream only thing we laughed about was shrimp cocktail has gone from 6 shrimp to 4. We had salmon a couple of nights and it was also very good. Breakfasts were delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. The fruit in Blu was excellent strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and happy to say they never ran out on the 12 night cruise. I feel Celebrity must have a wonderful chef cooking for Blu. Only had a buzzer 2 nights 10 minutes each time. Can’t speak for MDR but I believe it was very busy long waits and people who wanted a table for 2 many times asked if they would share a table.

Sounds like the cruise from hell……but can you elaborate or give examples where you feel Celebrity fell down so badly on all your expectations.

We were in Aqua and had a shower door. Beautiful ship and in great condition.

Thank you. We normally don’t eat till 8 or later so don’t mind if we have to wait a little. Love breakfast there it’s always very relaxing.

By email this morning. Got cabin number also deck 11 mid ship so very pleased with that.

Just got our MoveUp bid to Aqua 👌👌accepted for our cruise next week in Scandinavia. Anyone experienced Aqua recently on the Silhouette?

We have also heard that Celebrity HQ make all the decisions regarding wine and food source and it’s obvious to us they go for the cheapest…..plonk😂. Like your wife I usually drink their Sparkling wine and pay an up charge for a decent G a T.

Sad to see Celebrity cannot source a decent drinkable white and red on their Classic Package. It’s not rocket science maybe it should be taken up with their Beverage Managers.

Very much enjoying your review thank you for posting. I read A Man Named Otto and really enjoyed. I was a bit disappointed in the movie. We will be cruising in your part of the world next week on the Silhouette every much looking forward to ship and ports (we cruised there 6 years ago and also enjoyed St Petersburg). Continue to take good care of the Queen 🤴
