  1. Unfortunately ii's online data does not provide a useful page to print, but they do send off the request to Carnival, so I am happy with that.
  2. That's OK as long as you remember to disable auto rotate.😥
  3. If this was luggage labels, then it now seems that it prints 2 labels at a time, one for each of you.
  4. We spend plenty of time outdoors on a cruise, either on the open decks or on our balcony or in our cabin as do many others, far less than 95% of our time is spent indoors or in a crowded area.
  5. Maybe Grant Shaps comment that it would not get through parliament has been heeded.
  6. We normally get auto text message reminders, maybe your mobile is not registered with them Josy?
  7. Sky mobile charge £2 per day for their roaming passport which includes USA, Canada, Australia and Caribbean Islands that are EU country territories.
  8. Yes that is what we do with our investment broker.
  9. I live in hope that perhaps one day your glass will be half full, rather than half empty.
  10. Most of the FCCs are for deposit only, so not a catastrophe if they have to lose the money.
  11. Do you really believe that, with the cost of drinks and speciality meals on the US lines, especially with a 15% gratuity.
  12. By now everyone should be aware that covid protocols are an evolving feature which are routinely being updated, so simply claiming they were different when they booked is no justification for claiming unfair practises. As far as risk is concerned I think cruising.marks post explained that far more eloquently than anyone so far.
  13. For the vast majority there is nothing to fear, and anyone who has concerns that covid could cause severe problems for them should not be considering cruising, or any other activity where crowds of people would be present. However I do agree with you that they are not being fair in the way they are handling the wind down of FCCs. Since they insist on passengers having adequate insurance, they should at least be having a dialogue with insurers so that passengers could readily know they were fully covered in all circumstances.
  14. It's not really for the cruise lines to say whether cruising is safe, even for those who are vulnerable. It is up to the individual to decide whether the potential risks outweigh the benefits of a cruise holiday. Cruise lines have put in place protocols to minimise the risks, but there can be no guarantees. P&O sem to be responding correctly to any significant covid outbreak onboard, but they are between a rock and a hard place when it comes to applying tighter restrictions, some accept them as necessary, others hate them, so it's a fine line for the cruise lines who are struggling to survive with their reduced earnings and high debts.
  15. But you never get as much bang for your buck as you do for your pound, because P&O on board prices are so much lower than Cunard or Princess. By the way I am not defending Carnival for not adjusting the sterling OBC in line with exchange rates, just pointing out that you do need more on the dollar ships because of their outrageous drink and speciality restaurant pricing.
  16. It doesn't go anywhere near as far as the equivalent would on P&O.
  17. It's certainly annoying if you want adjoining cabins, but you can perhaps understand why the hotel staff would prefer an easy way to know which cabins want a full service on changeover day. There are obviously other options they could choose which would enable adjacent cabins to be booked, maybe if there are enough complaints they will eventually reconsider.
  18. That all sounds very sensible, but when was the time P&O acted sensibly?
  19. Probably not lying, it's just that customer service are never fully briefed about what is, or can be happening on all the ships.
  20. How come Avril can remember everyones names, does she keep a journal, or does she not suffer from old age memory loss, like the rest of us?🤔
  21. Ah, so identical except it also allows it for early saver bookings.
  22. But it would be impossible to prove without doubt just who had infected any other passengers.
  23. I think this refers to the shoreside loyalty reception, not the embarkation lunch.
  24. If you travel as a family group and only you test positive, and the rest do not want to travel without you, then you will quite possibly find that only you can claim on your travel insurance.
