  1. Because you play 2 games on each card. They have 2 different Deal or No deal sessions for every show. 2 players go up, and you get 2 chances in the audiance. Won Casino cash on 1st game, then Bingo on 2nd game
  2. Sailed a few months ago and played. One $30 casino play AND $25 bingo on same card. Also, someone DID win the free cruise too!
  3. According to this (from Carnival direct), Panorama should have it: LAUNDRY SERVICE Self-Service Launderettes Self-service launderettes are located on staterooms decks. There are 2 or 3 washers, 2 or 3 dryers, and 1 iron and ironing board in each launderette. The cost is $3.50 USD per washer load and $3.50 USD per dryer load. For your convenience, if you have not packed your own, each launderette has a vending machine that dispenses small boxes of detergent and water softener at $2.00 USD per box. On most ships, the machines are operated using your Sail & Sign card for payment. On the following ships, only coins are accepted to operate the machine; change can be obtained at the Guest Service Desk, if needed: Carnival Elation and Carnival Paradise. Self-Service Launderettes are featured on most ships with the exception of the following: Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee and Mardi Gras do not have washers and dryers but have ironing rooms on several stateroom decks as well as Valet Laundry service. Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Venezia do not have washers, dryers nor ironing rooms but do offer Valet Laundry service.
  4. As others have stated 1:30pm, unless you are Diamond or Platinum or purchase FTTF, then you have the ability to go and drop your luggage in your room as soon as you board - and rooms are usually ready by about 12-12:30pm (in my experience)
  5. So first hand experience on Sunrise 2 weeks ago - Two Starters / Two Sides and Dessert to go - all were fine: My Order: Risotto starter Salad Rib Eye Potato & Mushrooms both for sides Cheesecake to go (came out on covered plates) Don't forget you get an amuse-bouche from the kitchen and bread to start as well.
  6. Yes, we have had that fee waived a lot in years past ($50/pp change fee), but they have started clamping down and don't do it like they used to. I had to pay it once recently, and then got it waived once too still (in last 4 months or so, made 2 changes)
  7. I would rather have had Covid..... lol! But I don't think it is silliness, I would rather not come home from vacation sick if I can avoid it and I do my part to facilitate that.
  8. We have had great success asking each time we arrive to the dining room. We do the check in on the hub app, but when we arrive (after it tells us our table is ready), we alert the hostess we would specifically like a "XXX" type of table, they usually walk us up to the hostess stand and they switch us. Now, I will say my husband always make sure he has his "white" sail and sign card visible when he is asking so that may be the reason we are usually successful. 😄
  9. My experience last couple cruises (including just a week ago): Took wagu off menu no longer available. Art at the table for dessert gone too (we liked this). Cheesecake has gone down hill - not good like it used to be Portions small (got mushrooms as a side and there was literally 5 mushroom pieces in little pot), Potatoes were about 1/3 a cup for the service size. Steaks were really only thing I would call "great"
  10. We have carried it on and had no issues, they didn't even ask to see it on our carry on. Going through scanner looks just like wine or champagne. Used to be you had to buy a package deal that included champagne flutes to buy it on board, but they started selling it outright for $9.50. I have just been ordering it the last couple cruises and having it delivered to our room. Week ago we carried it the first night to Cucina Del Capitano and had it with our dinner.
  11. Guess it had to happen sooner or later. Just got off Sunrise last week (Monday) and last night on the cruise got violently ill. Spent entire night in bathroom. No exaggeration, didn't leave bathroom for 9 hours (at one point I was literally curled up in the fetal position with a towel under my head laying on the floor). Took Covid test that I brought we me so knew it wasn't that. Made it home and went to doctor - Norovirus! This is the new bench mark by which I will measure all other sickness when a doctor asks me "on a scale of 1 to 10" 🤪 Called Carnival and alerted them Tuesday so they could take precautions. Funny thing is, on day 2 of cruise our main room steward went out sick (his assistant cleaned the rest of the time and when we asked after him, he said he was out for medical reasons). My husband also saw people cleaning with bags that said "biohazard" on them not too far from our room... down the hall a ways. Now mind you, we are still super hyper vigilant. We cleaned and sanitized the entire room ourselves upon arrival. Washed and sanitized our hands ALL the time. To the point of sanitizing when we sat down at table, again after menu, again if we touched the salt/pepper or anything else on the table, etc. etc. etc.
  12. So this just happened to me, my PVP of like 15 years was promoted and transferred me to another. Didn't care for her at all. I searched the internet and found some info on one I thought I might like to try (looked at multiple sites and kept seeing the same name recommended in numerous places, by numerous people). Reached out to him and asked to be reassigned to him. He sent me an email confirming that is what I wanted to do and I just responded yes. He got it taken care of from there and had our files transferred to him.
  13. Most certainly, that is what we do every time. 🙃 Usually you are in Half Moon earlier in the day, so mid morning we enjoy the veggies, dips, chips, fruit they provide in the Cabana, then later on around 12:30 or so we will go and get a plate of food and take it back to the cabana for our lunch.
  14. I think if you read the description on the actual excursion, it will tell you. I just went and checked some on my future cruises and saw it specifically said 5 and under free, but not on others. It seems the "family" type ones have the note of under 5 free, while most of the others do not. I also saw several that had a minimum age listed as well. So, to answer your question I think it IS excursion specific and it should tell you if you read through the notes.
  15. Yes, but if there are 2 or 3 bartenders working the bar, I believe they still share them (that's what a bartender told us once). So, like I said if you got one that is taking really good care of you - tip them in cash to make sure it goes in their pocket.
  16. Yes, or her! or Ze... or Xe... or..... 🙃
  17. FYI for those it might impact. Hubby just saw article saying Sunshine is leaving early on 01/16! All guests must be on board for an hour earlier sailing. Article didn't say why.
  18. THIS. Cash is always king. They get it and can put it straight into their pocket. Otherwise, all the tips for the sailings are just divided up between all the workers at certain percentages. Just because you may add an extra couple bucks to the guy actually serving you does NOT mean he is the one that gets it directly. It goes into a big kitty and is divided up between all workers. So, if you have a good bartended, tip him cash direct.
  19. This is interesting, please come back and report if it works out to be a good deal. I have only every gotten cheers once, and only because we got it at a special extremely reduced rate. I have often said I would have a hard time justifying the cost otherwise, and that is drinking alcohol too! I just wouldn't drink enough everyday of everything to warrant the cost by the end.
  20. Yes, cheers includes pretty much everything from the bars and coffee shop. Pop, Juice, Water, Alcohol, Coffee, Milk Shakes, Energy Drinks....
  21. Cruise in 6 days, we will see if the Starry is on then!
  22. A lot depends on the ship. Some ships have the big tables lined up by the windows for the most part. Others have 2 tops - 3 wide (the ones that are like 4-6" apart), but still 2 top. Some have a 4 top, then a 2 top or two. All depends.
  23. Yes, it is what ever rate you book at. Yes, once Diamond it will be in your account (visible to booking agent only, not you). If you have a PVP use them to do it, if not call the Diamond Desk to do it. Do NOT use a normal Carnival agent.... this will assure it is handled properly
  24. No, it does not include any beverage. If you book the steakhouse on the first night you get the free house bottle of wine though.
