  1. Question I asked on NCL FB page.

Why has NCL stopped letting us book reservations for Cagneys Steakhouse ? Are you planning on new charges, raising the price or something like

    Their reply.

Norwegian Cruise Line Hi Kevin, we've looked into your questions, as a part of the Norwegian NEXT program, we’re making some exciting menu updates to Cagney’s. The restaurant will be closed for reservations prior to sailing, but you will still be able to make reservations onboard. We look forward to having you sail with us and wish you a wonderful cruise!

  2. When you were comped, did you go looking for a host and ask or did they tap you on the shoulder and just offer it?

When I was on the Jewel the Host would find me when I was playing, and come up and offer the comp dinners. The Jewel has a great Casino staff on board.

  3. I was on the Jewel Thanksgiving week and did real well the first 4 days on the slots. Played a lot, got a lot of points and was about a grand up each night. Towards the end it cooled off. I had a great time, the Casino staff on the Jewel were exceptional, they offered me complementary dinners in the specialty restaurants every night. I had a great time. Say hi to Andra the Casino host, a very nice young lady. Tell Andra Kevin says hi.

  4. Non alcoholic beer certainly has an alcohol content and is prohibited by NCL. Go ahead an bring a case with you, but be prepared to lose it. Wine only, for the other posters, soda includes any non alcoholic drink, Gatorade, orange juice, water, etc. The don't have an list of everything allowed, only prohibited. It is understood that non alcoholic drinks are allowed, as long as they don't have alcohol which the beer has.

Yes by law a can of O' Doul's has to indicate that it has less than .05% alcohol by volume. That is is case a slight bit gets left in it. In reality a glass oh OJ. has more alcohol than an O'Doul's.

  5. I've had the same answer regarding online payments. Some bookings I can do it & some I cannot. However, you can call the main NCL number to make payments - as long as you have your reservation number. they will take your money over the phone.

I am sure you can call te main number, I was just relaying what I was told by the CAS rep.

  6. I booked 2 extra rooms through CAS for family, and are having the same issue, I guess I will call CAS tomorrow and and see what rhey say.

I called CAS this am. and they said to call them to make payments, if you previously booked with CAS. They said sometimes you can do it online and sometimes you can't. they also said if you call the regular NCL # that typicaly you will get transferred to CAS being you booked through them. The # they gave me was 877 PLAY NCL.

  7. If you book while the current promotion is going, and you upgrade to Oceanview or better you will be able to get either UBP,UDP, or OBC as well. I have taken advantage of CAS cruises 3 times and have a 4th booked for July 4th on the Getaway in a Mini Suite Large Balcony with the OBC. CAS has been very good to me.

  8. I think it will be pretty easy, walk to Julia St and head towards the river. Once you cross Convention Center Blvd there is a walkway that goes up and over the train tracks and it should put you at the terminal. When I cruised out of NOLA I stayed a Harrah's Hotel and walked down to the terminal and it wasn't too bad of a walk.
