Further the EPIC POSH on one cruise tried to enforce the 18+ rule but there were so many 16-18 year olds they simply gave up despite security. The problem is if they have Haven access then they have POSH access and it is so difficult for two bar staff to know there ages
Haven access does not mean they have POSH access if under age.

A bit off track but......
I did this for a friend, I bought a $100.00 OBC. She was supposed to get a card in her room, saying I had done this. She didn't receive any info, and just thought it was part of the perks.
I'm sure something physical will be a better option.

We recently was on the Dawn and our experience with the Butler we had was a disappointment. She did have snacks in our room every afternoon but when we wanted to dine in our room one evening she told us to order from the room service menu. I had to ask if we were able to order from the dining room menu which was met with a sigh. When we called in the morning for breakfast we were "scolded" that we should of filled out the hanger for the door. This was on sea days, we didn't know what time we would wake up!
While at dinner the last night in Cagney's we saw her taking dessert back for two ladies dining next to us to their room for later. Great idea but since she never told us she would do this we didn't have that option. She also never once told us that the phone in the room was to contact her.
Very disappointed with our "butler" experience!
I think you should make NCL aware of this.

I think the DSC is a big con. Don't get me wrong, I pay it. But I doubt it goes where any cruise line says it's going to. I wish it did.

Disputing a charge is accusing the company you are disputing of a criminal act. It requires that you participate in a law enforcement investigation of the person who has charged your account without authorization. Not sure that a slow refund equates to a criminal act.
If it's criminal (and I know it is, I looked it up) then why do the CC companies participate?

I booked with an agent and got the upgrade email. Part of it depends on if you have registered on NCL's site to look at your sailings. Also if the travel agent gave them your email when it was booked. But they almost always have to give your email anymore. So agent or not shouldn't be a factor. The agent will also be notified if you get an upgrade offer.
Your travel agent has to participate with this bidding system, worth asking them just to make sure they do,

We are leaving on the Dawn in 2 days out of Boston to Bermuda. I bid at 90 days out (when first offered) on a Family Suite with Balcony (SD) and then added a second bid on another aft Penthouse Suite. I finally got an email yesterday, 3 days before our cruise. The waiting and watching has been exciting but exhausting! ;) I kept doing mock bookings to watch the inventory. I could tell that those suites hadn't been awarded yet but that was all. The cabin will be perfect for 3 adult girlfriends. We are childhood friends of 50+ years. One has never cruised and the other has cruised twice. We would have had just as much fun in our booked balcony cabin but I can't wait to surprise them when we get to the pier to check in! :D
Finally at noon, yesterday, I received notification I got my 'poor' bid on the Family Suite!! Yeah!
I've only bid one other time for our cruise we took this past April on the same ship. I got the bid on the same category Family Suite then only one cabin over.
I love this bidding process. ;) :D
Awesome well done, and a lovely surprise for your friends, Very exciting. Have a great time.

Used Captain Marvins 4 times. About 12-15 on board. Although the sandbar is large so room for all, the benefit we found of Captain Marvins was his crew member held the stingray for you, eased you into holding it for pictures, very accommodating with picture taking even though they had someone videoing for DVD sale later. We noticed people from other boats trying to edge into our group to be more interactive with stingrays.
One thing to note if booking on your own, Cayman Islands do not observe daylight savings time. When booking take into the possibility that there may be an hour time difference if your ship does not change to local time.
Did the guides handle the stingrays properly? I've seen them mishandled in the past,(grabbing them by their mouths) and want to avoid any company that doesn't handle them properly.
Thanks

Thanks for your replies

Absolutely I wouldn't dream of just not turning up. I thought the terms sound like they are going
to charge though.

What happens if I want to change my dinner plans when I have made a booking. For example if I've booked Manhattan and want to go to the buffet instead?
Here are NCL's terms, I don't understand them.
Dining Terms & Conditions
Refunds and Cancellation Fees
For standard dinner reservations, cancellations of dinner reservations must be made no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled dining time. If cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full price of the cover per guest will be charged to the guest's folio.
For pre-paid reservations, cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled dining time to receive a full refund. If cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours’ notice, no refund will be issued.
For Ultimate Dining Packages, no refunds are available if fewer restaurants are visited.
To ensure that our guests receive our best service, we can only hold your dinner reservation for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the unclaimed reservation will be released. For standard dinner reservations, the full price of the cover per guest will be charged to the guest's folio. For pre-paid reservations, no refund will be issued.
Thanks

I would like to know this too.

For me... it would depend how much it's going to cost. If it's within my budget I would do it. Love aft cabins.

How much would a Posh pass be on Epic for 10 days? Anyone know please?

Put some music on the TV to cover noises.
Take some Poo Pouri. To cover smells.
Peg a towel on door for privacy.

Here is what NCL says.....

Shore excursion credit is applicable for each port, including debarkation port, and is not transferable to other ports. Use the credit or lose it.
Does not include embarkation ports. Overnight stays count as one port, except Bermuda sailings which can receive up to 3 individual days of shore excursion credit.
Shore excursion credit can only be redeemed by calling 1-866-625-1167 or booking onboard.

Not sure of your Itinerary, but if it goes to Harvest Caye or Great Stirrup Caye, you can also use it for, a clam-shell beach lounger, underwater snorkeling on GSC (forget the exact name) kayak rentals etc.
