  1. My thoughts are: I can eat Teppenaki, Sushi & Brazilian Steakhouse at home. I'm from Nebraska so steakhouses in other places are risky...😉 I am gluten sensitive so Italian can be challenging. SO that leaves me Ocean Blue (I LOVE seafood) & Le Bistro (generally a French cuisine fan as well) I'm curious of other's opinions of the restaurants. I'm pretty adventurous.
  2. Thx, all, I just booked my times for 2!
  3. Trying to figure out my plan while we are there!
  4. Your typo got me giggling😂
  5. As a solo passenger, I don't have anyone to leave things with. No point in paying for this if there is no storage.
  6. So I wanted to book my dinners but it only gives even numbers as choices. Do I just book for 2? I don't want to be charged for another person!
  7. Princess was our 1st cruise in 2004 (on the Star) & got us hooked. From 2004-2012 we sailed Princess 5 times, plus 1 DCL & 2 RCCL cruises. Then in 2014 we tried Celebrity & felt it was a tick up in service & food. Plus we just seemed to be getting good deals. From 2014-2022 we sailed Celebrity 7 times, plus 1 RCCL & 1 NCL. Interestingly, Princess has popped back onto the radar--best price/itinerary for fall UK cruise, 80s cruise w/ BFF in fall & then suddenly Princess casino sends us some AMAZING deals for the next 3 months so we jumped. Now, we would sail all of the lines we have sailed before again, but curious of the changes you have seen on Princess in the last 10 years. (BTW we are not posh travelers; we often sail interiors, are typically satisfied w/ MDR, and little ruffles our feathers)
  8. We have a 4 day California cruise in October. Would love to book this if available; NO dining options are showing up on app yet.
  9. Cruising the Caribbean on the Celebrity Apex Saturday. Sorted thru travel toiletries, etc. today. OK...I need a couple small travel items. I did order some Bare Minerals powdered foundation from Amazon today... REALLY want to buy SOMETHING fun for the cruise...but we have cruised so often, and I am a finely tuned packing machine. We have everything we want/need. (who am I kidding...MORE than we need...) First world problems....🤣
  10. We are staying 3 days before & 3 days after our late Sept. cruise. I am looking to stay "near" the Eye--it seems a lot of things we want to see are nearby. (we've never been, so the usual sites are at the top of our list). I am wondering if we may want to do that AFTER the cruise, assuming some jet lag on the way out. I still anticipate a day of sightseeing before. What other part of London might be fun to stay in? We are likely looking at IHG hotels as we have 2-3 free nights plus 260K points we can use. But we also have 135K points via Capital One portal so I am open to other suggestions. I noticed that the IHG hotels nearest the Eye are pricier...the Hotel Indigo Tower Hill (2 mi. away) gets best reviews & is the best value. Or are we better off to spend a bit more to be closer? We do not mind taking the Underground to sites if we could get a hidden gem in a fun neighborhood.
