Hi there, I live in Phoenix, AZ so it's a fairly easy drive to the West Coast port of Long Beach. Not many options from Arizona by car... although we haven't ruled out making a run to Galveston in the future! Being able to drive to the port just makes cruising such a tremendous value for us. Luckily we love the Mexican Riviera especially Cabo and Puerto Vallarta!!

Doing this itinerary in October on the Miracle so looking forward to seeing the fun times and hopefully menus. Thanks!

My wife and I will be on the Miracle on the October 7th cruise with Cabo 2x and PV. We live in the Phoenix area so the heat won't be an issue for us but the humidity might bother my wife a little. She is an AZ native and likes to have "big" hair, I call it the poof!! haha anyway I'm a Connecticut native been in the desert since 2004 so I think I will do just fine.....especially with my arse in the sand and a cold drink in my hand at The Office or Mango Deck in Cabo and the Sea Monkey in PV. Can't wait!!

We are breaking them in on the Inspiration right when school ends here here in AZ. This will be a nice warm up for my wife and I, we are going w/out kids in October on the Miracle.

I am divorced from my boys mother and my wife and I are taking them on their first cruise next month. I have 50/50 joint/legal custody and I specifically called Carnival to go over what was required and the rep encouraged me to get a consent letter from their mother, which I did and included some language regarding authorization to consent to medical care etc.. Better safe than sorry and the last place I want to have an issue is when we are boarding. I probably won't need it, but I have just in case.

I just used this code today in the corporate code box and it worked with a tremendous discount, dropped price from $334 down to $139! I called hotel to confirm that it included parking and the cruise shuttle. This is for a cruise at the end of May. I Had a Total Left Shoulder Replacement (Titanium) back in 2004 and have a joint replacement card I can present if needed. It did not set off any alarms on last cruise in 2014 (but did once previously at an airport although normally does not) Just recently had Anterior Cervical Disc Fusion done with Titanium screws and plate etc.. will be testing that one out in October on our next cruise. I was told after previous surgery that I should not be setting off any detectors fyi. Have a great cruise!

Sailed on Miracle to PV and Cabo in February and the pools seemed heated and were getting a lot of use on sea days!! I jumped in while we were down in PV and it was great! Going again in October and can't wait. Have a blast!!

A while back I was able to switch my rate to a casino rate and saved a few dollars plus got 50 casino cash but my friends who both husband and wife like to gamble were not able to get the offer because according to Carnival the 6K cabin they are in is in too high demand. The carnival rep said they should be able to go to casino once on board and explain that they could not get the special price due to their cabin category and casino host would possibly give them the casino cash part of the offer.

It never hurts to ask! I will be doing that for sure. Thanks for the info!

I checked my offers and found both my mother and I have the casino rate (but we do get a little cash).

 

For our May Sunshine cruise (we're in the same room), I saved $20, gave up $50 OBC but gained $100 in casino cash - so we're ahead $70.

 

For our November 2017 Magic cruises (we're in two different rooms), we gave up $50 OBC per room (so $100 total) but each cabin dropped $142 plus she has $50 casino cash and I have $100 casino cash so we're ahead $334.

PS: I just got a $70 price drop yesterday on my cruise!

I called back to verify if there was anything additional to the cabin rate and was told no. There are additional casino rate benefits like casino cash or obc but unless it is spelled out specifically in the offer then it's just the cabin rate. I will be keeping my eye out for additional drops and/or possible casino cash or obc offers.

Under the "Plan" tab you can check VIFP offers or check "Todays Deasl at the top of the page and log in with your info.

Don't worry the casino will take that $$$ plus a lot more.

Oh I will donate for sure but pretty disciplined. Set a gambling budget and when its gone ..its gone!! We go to Vegas a few times a year and that plan works pretty well!!

I've always been able to keep my casino benefits and remain early saver. But the last offer was just the lower price without any casino cash, not sure what the OP is getting, other than the lower rate.

No additional offers it was just the lower rate.

I booked a 4K cabin on the Miracle last week for the October 7, 2017 Mexican Riviera 7 Day on a whim with the reduced deposit offer. I checked the daily deals today and saw a significant drop for the 4K cabin under a new casino offer. I called and they advised if I paid the difference in the reduced deposit and full deposit that I could get the reduced rate. So I paid the difference and got a rate drop of $142. Pretty happy to get a drop like that so soon after booking. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future drops!!

Just remember to reprint if you added FTTF after you printed everything !!!!

Had 7258 on the Miracle in February and it was awesome. We had 3 loungers on the balcony and still could have fit more. Great cabin, you will love it!
