  1. We have had cabins with connecting doors more than once and heard no one next to us. I don't believe that I would let THAT keep me from a good room. Some of our worst memories (noise wise) were cabins next to us obviously with no door. Noise until 3AM...........young kids, unchaperoned. FINALLY RCCL sent someone to check it out for us. That took care of it, for THAT night.

    Don't worry about connecting doors.

  2. I have a dumb question!! Does anyone know if there's an electrical outlet in the bathroom? I bought nightlight/air fresheners (with an extra outlet) for each of our cabins and wanted to make sure I can use them. For some reason, I thought I remembered that I couldn't plug them in on Explorer; but I don't remember why. Maybe something about the polarized plug and not being enough room. They might have been a different kind and for some reason didn't fit. Who knows! Any help for my obcessing would be great! :D

I read on this website some months ago that the plug in air fresheners were not being allowed anymore due to fire hazzard. I have read a lot about them causing fires in home and SOMEONE is trying to have them removed. That said, I haven't read anything in probably 6 months or more so guess it was dropped. Regardless, a fire is something that you DON'T want on a ship. Bring some other type of air freshener.

As far as needing a nightlight......unless the cruiselines realize that we need some type of light at night I just leave the bathroom light on and the door very slightly ajar.

I'm sure there are some better promonade rooms than others. I thought that it would be good to be in the area overlooking the cafe (24 hour, can't remember the name). Is the 6th, 7th, or 8th floor better? Is is better at the opposite end of the atrium area?

What about balcony rooms. It sounds as if some balconys are not so good. Any advice?

One last thing. Exactly WHERE are the humps? I'm sure this MUST have been asked before but I haven't seen anything.
