People forget there is more public per person Square feet on ships built in last 20-25yrs then in past. Back in 90's was a selling point back. The public space on smaller ships is useful. On Oasis class much of the public space is just space. The ice rink and aqua theater are used a few times per cruise. The promenade, boardwalk, and central park are basically just walk ways to get to something useful.

I understand the concept.

Cram as many people on a ship as possible and you make more money.

I hope they are done selling and leave Vision/Rhapsody in the fleet for awhile.

Steve Davis took over from Mercedes on Vision for the TA. He told me he will be there for 8 months.

Enzo Matijaca is the AM on Vision.

One of the best we've ever had

Mercedes is the CD on Vision

Anyone have any news on Empress? We are sitting in Cozumel overnight. We are suppose to return Sunday, but after seeing the Allure/Harmony changes, I don't believe we are returning either.

Just arrived to Empress...

Tried to check my case of water....porters told us we needed to carry it on that they aren't allowed to take the water anymore....period!  I tried an extra tip to no avail....

No problem! I'll just put it on top of my carry on as I've done many times in the past. Went through security and there was a person whose sole job was to enforce the water/wine limits. They took 12 of my bottles and told us they would deliver them to the cabin on the last day.  

There was over 100 bottles of soda/water that was taken before mine and 20 bottles of wine.....

Just a heads up if your bringing extra.
