  1. I much prefer club class. The service is exceptional. The staff go out of there way to please you. We have asked a few times for items not on the menu and we were gladly accommodated. I asked one night if Sea Bass would be on the menu in the next few days as it is my favourite fish. The head waiter spoke with the chef and it was added the next night as the special item! My husband and I really enjoy cooking and discuss recipes with the staff, this seems to prompt more interest from the head waiter and the chef who will come to our table frequently to discuss the menu. That’s is so enjoyable for us and worth every extra penny!
  2. I think your missing out. Have you done the kitchen tour and watched the bakers in action. We got to try bread rolls right out of the oven !
  3. They have separate credit cards. Do you think at the ship they could ask to have transferred?
  4. My daughter, husband and baby are going on a cruise soon. Each person was given $150 OBC. So in total they have $450. Can they combine the credits and use towards purchase of beverage package for husband? Is yes, how is this done?
  5. Called princess up sale department this morning again and got through. I was told it was sold out. I then received a call 2 hours later from a different representative who said that the actually had two full suites available. So I took the offer and it does include the balcony breakfast
  6. If you used a credit card to pay for cruise also check with them. Many Premium cards come with Automatic trip cancellation insurance that you may not be aware of
  7. I received an upsell offer email on Friday and have left a message that I’m interest. The upsell department is closed on the weekend, so I’m hoping I will hear back this morning. I re-read my email and it has some wording that is concerning. My offer is to a full suite. One of the perks we enjoy is the special breakfast in Sabatini/crown Grill. Here is the wording on my email. Breakfast for 2 on the morning of your choice. Do you think this means we only get one breakfast in Sabatini? Would the staff at Sabatinis even know how you received your suite?
  8. I’m on the Star next week. I’m going to ask at the Spa if I can pay before the service. Or if they say no, get my husband to book and pay beforehand saying we have separate accounts. Hopefully that way I see the invoice before the service and will not be surprised after the fact

  10. If by specialty coffee you mean something like an Irish coffee or a Monte Christopher coffee, you can order in the dining room or any bar
  11. This is a valid question and I’m not sure why so much sarcasm. I also enjoy MUTS. In the past we got emails letting us know the entertainment before we boarded. My next cruise is in a week and we just received a generic email without much details. Our cruise is not a medallion cruise, so I can’t check pre-cruise. When we did know what was playing we have purposely not watched at home so that we could enjoy on the ship.
  12. I posted this issue on Face book and got a lot of comments, but no real advice or suggestions. Hoping this forum is more helpful. Anyone else have issues with Spa Services. On our last cruise in September on the Star, I visited the Spa twice for a massage. The first was a special promotion with a discount offered to passengers who had booked a shore excursion. When I paid, the discount wasn’t as much as I anticipated but I couldn’t remember the details of the “deal”. When I returned to my cabin I found the promotion flyer and sure enough I was over charged. I went back to the spa and they corrected my bill. One my next visit I was again over charged and this time it took a bit more complaining to get my bill fixed. I was charged regular price and I should have received the port day special. We have our next cruise in a week and I really enjoy the spa, but I don’t want this stress again. Has anyone paid for services BEFORE treatment? Hoping this might be a solution to the pricing issues
  13. I recently received a sample of Givenchy cosmetics which I love. I checked the prices online and it is very expensive. I do not recall what brands Princess carries in the shop. Does anyone know if they carry Givenchy. I hoping to save a little money with the duty free discount. Thanks
  14. 10 day cruise. It would be only a 17% discount from regular fare. So not a great discount
  15. I just received email offer To upgrade to a full suite from a Mini suite, but the price is an additional $1500 per person! That too rich for me. I was just curious if anyone has any success negotiating a better price? Should I call and attempt?
