We moored two weeks ago at Westport Lake for a couple of nights before going through Harecastle Tunnel.
Just booked the Dolphin for cruise parking in December - cheaper than Hotel then CPS.
-
The problem is that this little seed will grow and grow. You will walk onto the ship looking for anything to pick holes at, and your cruise will be ruined. Please prove me wrong.
-
We use the Dolphin - free transfers - Wetherspoons to the right - fantastic steakhouse to the left and my mates bar opposite.
-
I put a pint on a table in a pub not knowing the table was on a slant - the pint slipped off onto the floor - guess what the landlord said when I asked for another pint?

It would be the blue of the tory party who will rule forever without the scottish MPs

It was probably the amount that had been wrung out of the tissues used to soak the original spillage up.

Thank you - a bit like the Sorrento on Oriana then.

Quick question - Is the Horizon Grill outside on the Oceana all year or is it relocated in the colder months?

As an ex resident of Bermuda I asked this question - I was told that dress shorts were acceptable with plain long hose socks, and shoes. I would double check before wearing them though.
Dress shorts being of a material similar to suit material

It's like a DFS sale.

We live on a boat, and have a similar toilet system to the cruise ships. You cannot use just any old chemicals in these types of toilet - some will rot seals, and others will react in the holding tank.

Never found a good deal at these shows.

I managed to get a balcony on a 12 night cruise for £599 - I just asked the TA what he could offer me, and the OBC that was offered bought the price down.
-
Yes - giveaway price.
-
On our back to back we had to attend on the second cruise, because our muster station had changed.

It could easily be trialled by offering it to a certain tier of peninsular membership.

It is best to read between the lines of these reviews - there is usually some underlying reason for these people to complain - usually finding out the fare was lowered after they had paid or a problem early on in the cruise that was not resolved. They then look at everything in a negative light, and it's a downward spiral from then on.
-
We found they went out of their way to give the change back in UK money.
-
I really think that people who complain about the price drop should must call the thread 'Look at me - I have booked a cruise without doing my homework - aren't I an idiot'

We find it quite easy to cruise through Stoke on Trent

If the emission regulations for the Baltic, North Sea, and English Channel are implemented, then it would be economic to start Norwegian cruises from Liverpool to avoid those areas.
-
We caught a train to Rostock, then a train to Bad Doberan. There is a narrow guage steam railway that goes through the towns main street en route to the coast.
We were back in Warnemunde by 13.30hrs.

At Alesund there is a bus that takes you to the aquarium - it was 200NOK (£20) which included entrance to the Aquarium £17.50.
At the Lofoten Islands we booked the Heritage Tour which included a church, a museum and a little fishing village, which was a living museum. We felt this was the best value ships tour we had been on.
There was no free shuttle at Bergen.

Just seen the photos on Facebook, and the design looks much better than the computer simulation.
