Hello. We are taking a cruise that stops in Limassol this October. The 2 days prior to Limassol we have long full day tours. We are in Limassol 630-1430. So, looking to just get off the ship, go for a stroll and stop in a cafe. Is there anything walking distance to the port or are these buses from the port that go to town? Also, if my husband decides he wants to sleep in, is it safe for a woman to walk around by herself during daylight hours? Thank you.

I think P & O is smart how they are doing it for a trial. They will see how it affects those sailings and then can make a more informed decision.

I have a cruise scheduled that stops in St. Thomas. A colleague and friend recently spent a few days in St. Thomas. She wasn't overly impressed with St. Thomas and recommended St. John which she loved visiting for the day. There is a champagne catamaran excursion that goes to St. John. We aren't snorkelers and would enjoy the catamaran and beach. On the other hand, I have read/heard others sing the praises of Megan's Bay. Which would you do?

Thank you Purple Cow for offering your experience. We are sailing later this year and wonder if it will be more crowded now that the US has dropped pre-departure testing. You said dining rooms were empty. Do you think most were eating at the buffets? Did you hear if there were many cases of covid onboard? Were you able to purchase non-alcoholic drinks while at Greek ports?

Yes, I interpreted on a different line in Civi rather than Barcelona because Rome has so much to see and I wanted to spend more time there pre-cruise. Still had a good time.

Ok, here is my question- My cruise leaves on a Sunday at 6pm out of Athens. I am flying from NY to Athens Thursday evening. If I test at 12pm NY time on Thursday which is 7pm in Athens is that within 72 hours?
