This was the beginning of an amazing cruise

24 cruises and never seen one on a ship. In fact in decades of travel I've only encountered them once in a hotel

So the CDC can be overridden by the Sec of HHS.  The CDC does not hold all the cards - if the current administration feels that cruising can resume, they have an avenue.

Yes but declaring the Pandemic over has impacts on a lot more than just cruising

CNBC is reporting that the CDC has rejected the request and stocks are taking a tumble as a result but before anyone panics it has not been confirmed by a second source that I can see yet and if true it just means they aren't amending them right now, they could always do so in the future

• ·       Carnival through its trade association has asked the CDC to amend the conditional sail order to allow cruising to resume this summer

If you're planning on 2021 don't get your hopes up, Canada just cancelled cruises for another year

Personally I go for Ocean View - all of the views, none of the cold

We did and then had to wait 2 weeks for the FCC to applied and they didn't even send us a notification it had been applied

Might not be a bad idea to bring proof along just in case, I know folks who had it drop off
