  1. We booked Symphony OS Dec 2016 while on a cruise for Aug 2018 7 day-Mediterranean leaving from Spain. I paid $1,240 per person for three people, balcony room total $3,720. I searched for airfare from LAX to Barcelona, I found Royal Air2Sea roundtrip $589 per person. Total trip including gratuities, post transfers, cruise and air $5,867 ($1,955 per person) to cruise to Spain, Italy and France.

Cruise Only price today is $7,091

  2. So either they made a mistake or you played a bit more than you realized. It normally takes 800 points to receive a $200 off certificate. It takes five dollars run through a machine to equal one point. (You can do the math to see how much you may have run through the machines). Of course you don’t have to lose that money - just play it.

    Enjoy.

Well if OP is like me I keep playing when I win. I only cash out if it is more than $300

  3. I have used the plan (ONCE), per everyone else it is very expensive. We were traveling with our two kids. The whole time on the ship I would get text message about the data but never the cost associated with it, by the end of the cruise I had an additional $600 in charges.

  4. I booked our next cruise for Aug 2018 leaving from Spain in Dec 2016. I paid $5,687 (includes balcony room, flight, gratuities and transfer post) for three of us on the Symphony. I checked the prices and today for a balcony ONLY room not including anything else the price is $7,091. It really is a hit or miss and you have to watch the prices, even after you book they will adjust.

  5. Maybe I need to figure out how to do that!

Just call Royal and tell them you want to add OBC to your seapass account they will transfer you to the department. Then when you check in online just do cash account When you get to the ship and check they will ask for a card tell them you have OBC, it’s a cash account.

  6. Depending on the length of the cruise we usually put money on our sea pass before the cruise in the form of OBC. Once we arrive the account is considered cash and we don’t give a credit card. If we put $100 per person we usually cash out at the end of the cruise, they are considered refundable

  7. There is so much judgement, negativity and righteousness in this comment, it is painful to read. Heres a pat on the back ------> Do you feel proud that you would NEVER consider leaving them on the ship? Because honestly, no one here really cares what you would consider or not. Your comment has no relation to what the OP originally asked, except for being judgmental and attention seeking.

Also, you seem to be a psychic on top of it all. You seem to know exactly what this person, via internet, had in mind when planning his/her vacation, her morals and perspective on life.. wow.. that is a lot to know about a person you've never actually met. Let me ask you this. in your mind, does it mean that the whole family vacation goes to crap because the adults want to enjoy one excursion together for a few hours, without children? Does it make you weak to admit that sometimes, you need and/or want help? Does it make you a terrible, selfish, narcissistic fool because you would rather your child be in his happy place, than hot, cranky and bored on an adult themed tour?

I bet you're one of those people on board that complains a lot and has a negative attitude...

    Hahhahahaha:'):(:(:(

  8. You are welcome.

But your memory is quite a bit different than mine. The MDR was good, but not that good. Never has it been high end restaurant good, especially on our first cruise in 2001.

Still, you make this sound like a new thing that we could have all ended. It’s not. Nor, based on the people we see there, is it that burdensome.

So don’t go. Or don’t sail, and save me money. I’m totally fine with the latter.

I think your memory maybe off. Again how you feel and how someone feels is their opinion it does not make your memory better than anyone else’s. I agree the food in the MDR has drastically went down due to the increase in speciality dining. I go to both, however I agree
