Also when I did a search on the cruise we are set to leave Barcelona on August 26 on the Symphony (7 nights), they also have a cruise that leaves on the 30th (7 nights) on the Symphony as well. Maybe that is what is meant by crossover ????? Not sure

I was looking at a roll call for my cruise next year on the symphony and someone mentioned a crossover here is what they said

"This is interesting! We are on the 9/2/2018 out of Barcelona. It appears they are doing crossover cruises. We just did Independence of the Seas out of Southampton and loved it."

"Yea I saw that there is a crossover in the middle of our cruise also"

What is a cross over cruise?

is there a habachi restaurant and Starbucks on the freedom of the seas?

I was wondering what will happen to the Dec 9th cruise on the Freedom. It is currently scheduled to go to St. Kitt, St. Martin, Puerto Rico and Haiti. Have anyone heard anything?

Oh and do watch your back/stuff carefully. A prior post said they never felt at risk but the risk is there and pick pockets are ever present. If you stay a few days you will see someone or something fishy. Just mind your stuff and don't fall for anything tricky and you'll be fine. In other words, be vigilant and don't make the mistake of thinking the warnings are overblown. The city is amazing so enjoy whatever time you have there.

We like Hotel Jazz. Close to, but not right on Las Ramblas. Close to metro stations. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Hello, we are cruising on the Symphony next year out of Barcelona, Spain. I would like to spend a few days in Barcelona before boarding the ship. I am looking for hotel recommendations, not necessary close to pier.

Why not just cash out your balance at the concierge. I do OBC for all my cruises and what we don't spend at the end I go get cash back.

We have cruised since 1999 and has NEVER used a credit card. We prepay for everything prior to the cruise such as gratuity, drink packages, specialty dining, excursions, transfers, OBC. I call and add on-board credits to my account, so when we arrive at the port everything is paid and when we return home there are no bills waiting to be paid from our vacation. We are leaving again at the end of the month and at this point all I have to do is pack our clothes. I use my debit card. If you don't have a credit card purchase a pre-paid visa card and pre-pay all your expenses prior to leaving.

August 2018 - Symphony of the Seas (Mediterranean)

There is a sign in the casino that let's you know how many points you would need for the casino offers such has free cruises or cash vouchers towards your next cruise, depending on the level of play.

So the casino rate and discount based on play can be used on multiple cruises, but the certificate only on one? Do you recommend using the certificate on the closest booked trip? Can the certificate be used with a casino rate or to upgrade from a free inside room for 2 offer to a junior suite for 3? I just got off the ship today and received my first certificate. Called Club Royale to ask these questions, but they were already closed. Thanks for your help!

I received the casino rate for my upgrade on a free cruise I did not use the certificate I used my certificate on my booking for next year not my bookings for this year on my Mediterranean cruise.

To my understanding you can only use the certificate once, however the casino rates you can get on multiple bookings. Also I had 3 cruises booked with the casino rate and after the first cruise I was able to adjust my casino slots discount to the higher discount based on my play on the last cruise. Basically there are 3 savings from casino royale 1) certificates earned 2) casino rate for being a member and 3) discount based on your play.
