So far, no one has mentioned spare reading and sun glasses. Also a spare ball point pen & sd card.

Is there a commemorative coin on this ship? Where? I have seen one on the Navigator. Thanks.

My wife and I cruised HAL last week of May, ice had not melted in small areas, hence no "skeeters," Be sure take some short sleeves, I only had one. Be prepared for a few showers. Enjoy. :-)

If my poor ole memory is working, I think we ate at the Sabor the first night, for a 25% discount. Or was this the next night? Oh, well we did have a discount, and the Mexican food was "right on."

My daughter, and I enjoyed the staff in so many areas, had excellent service in the WJ on our May cruise. Perhaps some of the staff doesn't want to leave GVS, which will happen in November. :-( :-)

While at sea, have you ever spotted a military submarine?
-
Rick is correct and you aren't. The Crown will be on the West Coast through 2016...
Sorry, Nina
I misread, the Princess Caribbean, will be in Houston. :-(
-
Wondering how many if, if any of y'all ever wear your Emerald, Diamond, etc. pins.
-
Crown Princess will be back in the Caribbean in 2017...
She will be sailing this winter until 2016 spring, from Houston terminal, into/on the Caribbean.

Enjoyed his sanitize moves on the Navigator in Dec. 2013.But was not on in 5/14 or 11/14. And now the ship will relocate from GVS in Nov. Good hunting.

Lovely, beautiful pictures. This is the arrival for it's new home port, Galveston.
-
Yes, Coxen Hole. For a nice picture, walk thru the Town Center to the parking lot where bus & vans park. Walk toward the ship, makes a great background.
Enjoy your cruise.

two banana stalks were hanging aft, and they were swinging from side to side. . My trousers, hanging on a hook were swaying also
Of course, I should have stated "appeared to be" :-)

In the spring of 1950, the Contessa was returning to New Orleans, and the ship did skirt the eye. (whew) As you can see this is a small ship, cargo and passenger, two banana stalks were hanging aft, and they were swinging from side to side. Sandwiches were offered in the "MDR" some did eat them. My trousers, hanging on a hook were swaying also, Maybe 25-30 degrees. I was much younger and had a blast.

I read that a "major" fare announcement due Aug. 25 Could be. :-)
-
As you can see from my cruise history, did these with a walker, and the first 3 I was solo, at 86. Had a blast! I wish him well.

Most airplanes fly several legs each day, If it has a delay, weather, mechanical, whatever, it has a "domino" effect. Your flight could be delayed, and miss the connection. Also check for the on time record for the flight. Good luck.

the dessert? or are you only given one choice from each?
As I recall, A dessert tray is brought to the table. It contains ( I think ) 6 items, each, with 4 of each.
We booked Sabor for first night for a 25% discount, per person.

Martha & Hoop, per my info, the Jade will be in HOU till Apr 16 2016, then departs. And likely to return in DEC 2017 for the winter. Smooth sailings.
-
Many thanks to y'all for the info. Gives time after muster to look at thr boring (?) land. After a snack, :-)
-
Yes, this is an old thread, but Norwegian's Jade will sail during the winter of 2015, months out of Houston.
-
My apologies if this has previously been asked. I have booked my first cruise on Norwegian, the Jade. Time from Galveston, it's just around the "corner." Thanks.
-
As you can see, I've cruised NOS 4 times. Food aft, entertainment forward, To reach Studio B, use aft elevators or walk down. To reach deck 14, aft port elevators. Have fun.

I have them from the May 24 cruise but unable to post them. Ask a question :-)
