  1. Like any other booking- if available, the flier rate will come up as one of the rate options.
  2. No, and they usually have a one week deadline to fill out. Being your first sailing may have something to do with it.
  3. That is only true if the drinks you get use only one punch - that is very ship/barista dependent.
  4. It is likely too late - always choose the download option at the time of the photo buying process.
  5. All the reports seemed to indicate a very YMMV on that working. I know quite a bit of traffic gets by inbound (notifications, headers) but outbound traffic seemed to be very limited. Good to know iOS messaging works for you.
  6. Biker, who wonders if Disney will keep the proposed Flowrider.
  7. Disney has announced the acquisition of a partially completed cruise ship as it has come to terms to acquire the unfinished 6,000-guest Global Dream that is sitting at MV Werften. Disney will now work with Meyer Werft to complete the cruise ship in Wismar, Germany. The ship will be renamed and is expected to set sail in 2025 and will be fueled by green methanol. Disney said it was able secure the ship at a favorable price and within the capital expenditure guidance. This is in addition to two new ships the company will take delivery of in 2024 and 2025, respectively. “Our cruise ships give us the unique opportunity to bring Disney magic to fans no matter where they are, and the addition of this ship will make a Disney Cruise Line vacation accessible to more families than ever before,” said Josh D’Amaro, chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. The new ship, to be based outside the United States, will feature innovative Disney experiences along with the dazzling entertainment, world-class dining and legendary guest service that set Disney Cruise Line apart, the company said. The exterior will be adorned in the iconic, Mickey Mouse-inspired colors of the fleet, complete with signature red funnels. The Global Dream, originally under construction for now defunct Dream Cruises, is said to be about 75 percent complete. The ship was designed for the family market and to sail year-round in Asia. 8. You usually buy those via the planner ahead of time. Availability may vary by ship/date.
  9. Simply resurrecting a thread may not get someone’s attention like the @zorky12 call out would.
  10. Any 2-3 mm neoprene suit should work. The Flowrider is only open when ambient temp is above 50F (10C). As mentioned, the issue is keeping warm while waiting in line - you don’t need anything while on the wave as the water warms you up (assuming the heaters are working).
  11. Yes, the Flowrider water is heated on most/all ships including Anthem.
  12. It varies, check the PE web site less than a week out to confirm.
  13. The liquor being discussed is something you can consume in your cabin- not the stuff from the shop on board. It is usually in the gifts section of the planner but it seems to be gone from there at the moment.
  14. You don’t have to think- this has been that way for ages. Prices varies, sometimes wildly, depending on the market in which you book. Lots of folks from outside of North America use a US TA because of this.
  15. Check in is today for you- once you get your SetSail pass, decode the barcode in it for a possible GTY assignment.
  16. That varies by ship/date - it is still a thing on other ships.
  17. While that kind of traffic used to get by the RCI internet filter, that is unlikely to work now. What ship and when did that work for you last?
  18. Itinerary releases by RCI are not on a specific enough schedule to count on.
  19. The even rarer 10 beer card was offered on Enchantment earlier this year.
  20. Go to the web page where you would normally set up your VOOM login (page should come up when you connect to the ship Wi-Fi). Just below the login link, there’s a link to download/update the RCI app - just click on that and magically you get 15 minutes of Stream.
  21. You can get about 15 min free simply by clicking on the App/Play store link on the login page.
  22. True, but connecting to the ship Wi-Fi is free - getting a VOOM package and internet connection costs - not needed for the texting option.
  23. Correct, the Select package was discontinued several years ago.
