  1. There will still be two services offered - the free internet access will allow for FaceTime, WhatsApp video calls, etc - however if you are attempting to stream HD video content, you need to upgrade to the $9.99/day package. Numerous factors will have an impact on what is possible with either package, so a definitive answer with specific use cases is a challenge.
  2. I'll try to get answers to questions and reply as I receive them...
  3. The majority of instances it should be fine, I just don't want to give anyone the expectation that you will always be able to stream 24/7, 100% of the time, regardless of the ship's location.
  4. As lprp indicated above, Grandeur will have Starlink from her first cruise.
  5. There is a new app in development, but nothing related to audio for tours.
  6. That is generally due to the last name in your web profile not matching the last name in your booking. Often times it’s something minor like a hyphenated last name or suffix. Please email me the details and we’ll take a look for you.
  7. Please send me an email with your booking details and we’ll look into it: mmoore@rssc.com
  8. What are you specifically trying to do? Add a booking to your account?
  9. Greetings all - this bug has been fixed so flight schedules will not disappear on you. Apologies for that and thank you for your patience. Mike
  10. I'm afraid that I don't know the answer. I also imagine that - even with Starlink - there will likely be factors that impact upload/download speeds, so providing a definitive answer might not be accurate.
  11. Greetings all - the current plan is to have Grandeur and Mariner both done this year. We don't have any official dates for any of the rest of the ships beyond those two. I would not count on Explorer being done for January @Portolan. Afraid that's all I currently know or can comment on publicly. 🙂
  12. My pleasure. It does seem to still be a fluid situation, with even the local athorities being unclear on exactly what will come of it. Just as soon as we have 100% confirmation, we'll be sure to communicate it out to any impacted guests.
  13. I have received word back that our local port agent has verified this new Egypt visa requirement for Canadian passport holders will not affect transit cruise passengers. As long as the guests arrive and depart with the ship, they will receive a free quick trip excursion stamp upon arrival. This is the same process that has always been in place. Should anything change, we will communicate immediately.
  14. I've reached out to the appropriate department and will update this thread as soon as I have something from them.
  15. Yes, an app is currently in development, and will not replace Passages. More info to come soon!
  16. We're looking into this - not really sure why it's happening but we'll get it resolved as soon as we can. Apologies all!
  17. That is not accurate as a whole, but might be for the particular cruise and corresponding flights you were looking for.
  18. Go to the link below, and click on Port of Call to expose the four new filters: https://www.rssc.com/cruises
  19. Greeting Cruise Critic community - We've added new port filters to our Find a Cruise tool to help you narrow down your search for the perfect voyage. Historically we only had one port filter, to show cruises that went to a specific port. It was not an optimal tool, as the logic behind it was "OR" - so if you put in Athens, Santorini and Istanbul, you received a list of cruises that went to ANY of those three, which would be 80 results, versus cruises that went to ALL three of them on the same itinerary. We have now changed that filter to be "AND", so the same search yields just 25 results, and also added three new filters, to give you a total of four filtering options, all of which are outlined below. Cruises That Include: This is a list of all active ports that we currently go to, and the logic applied to each selection is “AND”. Meaning if you select Athens, Santorini and Istanbul, the website will display only cruises that go to all three of those ports (25 in this example). Cruises That Exclude: This is a list of all active ports that we currently go to, and the logic applied to each selection is “OR”. Meaning if you take the same 25 results from the above criteria, and add Alexandria and Kusadasi to this exclude filter, the website will display all cruises that go to Athens, Santorini and Istanbul, while not going to Alexandria or Kusadasi – which pairs the 25 previous results down to 13 in this example. Cruises That Begin In: As it would suggest, this filter allows you to pick an embark port, and the logic here is “OR”. So again taking the above scenarios into account, if you want to sail from Barcelona so you choose it, the website narrows the 13 results down to just two. Cruises That End In: Finally, and as the name implies, this allows you to select a disembark port, and also works on “OR” logic. With the scenario from above, the only two cruises that are left that match all the criteria are Barcelona to Athens and Barcelona to Istanbul, so if you select Istanbul, you are left with your one, perfect cruise that begins in Barcelona, ends in Istanbul, stops in Athens, Santorini and Istanbul while not going to Alexandria or Kusadasi. I do hope you find this enhancement useful for finding your perfect itinerary, and welcome any future suggestions, as many of these filtering ideas came from listening to website visitor feedback - so thank you for never being afraid to share your opinions!
  20. It's my pleasure to assist wherever I can. 🙂
  21. Apologies to you both that you had a hard time inviting guests. The dining reservations portion of My Account is the first area that will be going through a redesign, which is slated to go live in Q1 or Q2 of next year, and we're doing our best to make sure the new solution provides a superior experience. @pingpong1 if you'll send me an email with your booking details, and those of your guests, along with the reservations you were attempting to make, I'll be happy to have a look at it for you: mmoore@rssc.com.
  22. Update for everyone following along - we're going to be sticking with 8pm ET for the time being. Apologies for the miscommunication.
  23. Best wishes to you and your neighbors!
  24. That is correct - the time listed on the "to-do" list within My Account will be updated as soon as this change goes live, which is currently scheduled to happen the evening of August 24th. Meaning if any of your "to-do" dates are August 25th or beyond, after you log-in to the website after 8pm ET on August 24th, you'll see the times update to reflect 7am ET on those dates moving forward.
