Spend over 90 days in the Red Sea in 1978 on the USS Truett (Navy Frigate) with only brief stops for fuel...

I think that printing your own luggage tags is dumb! I used to love getting luggage tags in the mail. Printing luggage tags that could be easily be ripped off is a bad way to cut costs. Ending rant in 3...2...1...done!
Saying the Printing Luggage Tags is Dumb is not a complaint or rant. It's just an OPINION and we know all about those. Everyone's got one.

Hello CC
A while back I created a small web page with the March 2014 Daily Planners for the Enchantment of the Seas' 4-Day Bahamas Cruise.
Just got back from the SEP 15 sailing and I've updated my web page and have now included the Shore Excursion Brochure...

Our first Mediteranean Cruise in October of 2010 was most memorable. We had booked a balcony stateroom. 10 days from set sail we had a call from RCI that we had been upgraded to an Owners Suite... It was incredible... The bathroom was bigger than some cabins it seemed.

It is not an arm band, It is a WOWBand (Wrist Band) and it will not replace the Seapass Card..
One of the more interesting parts of Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas technology announcement yesterday was the RFID "WOWband" wristbands because of the really intriguing possibilites.
Understandably, there's a lot of intrigue regarding this new kind of SeaPass and people want to know what it is exactly and what to expect. We don't know everything quite yet, but here's a listing of all the information on WOWbands that we do know in one place.
What do WOWbands do?
WOWbands are RFID bracelets that allow you tap it and quickly navigate the ship, make on-board purchases, access staterooms and access the Royal iQ app. It is an optional replacement for the SeaPass card.
Unlike a SeaPass card, it can never demagnetize. It's also waterproof.
Do I have to get a WOWband?
No, they are optional and you may keep your SeaPass card instead to use. Even if you get the WOWband, you can use both.
Royal Caribbean is encouraging all guests to use WOWbands but they are not required.
Will the WOWband cost extra?
Yes, there will be a "nominal charge" to get a WOWband.
How much will each WOWband cost?
Each wristband will cost $2.

Sue & I have done five Alaska cruises since 2006, We're ready for another.
Our favorite is the North or South Bound cruises from Vancouver to Seward (Anchorage) or reversed.
DO NOT worry about enough to do if you visit the same ports twice. You could spend a week in each port if you had the time, I'm sure.
Our choice for BTB would be from Anchorage (Seward) to Vancouver and back. Upon arrival in Anchorage you would probably take the cruise line transfer bus to Seward (A 3 Hour tour in itself).. and upon your return to Seward, book the scenic train right from Seward to the Airport (book ahead if possible, Sue and I waited until the middle of a cruse we were on and all the seats were sold).
We have not taken a Cruisetour (adding a few days to the cruise where you go by coach into the wilderness and stay at slect lodges) but have heard many say it was great too..

I found documents that contained what the individual drink packages contained. I put them together and here is the link. They were created at the End of May 2014.

Sue & I booked all our Excursions through Celebrity. We usually get an excursion that is 'Mild', usually a bus type tour that covers the most territory and spends the most time (so we can pick what we want to see on a return trip)..
In Le Harve we did the Alabaster Coast - Entretat & Feecamp
In Cork(Cobh) we did the Cork City Panoramic & Irish Coffee
In Dublin we did the Panoramic DUblin, Irish Countryside & Glendalough
In Liverpool we did the Liverpool Panoramic City Highlights
In Belfast we did the Ards Peninsular Scenic Drive
In Glasgow we did the Panoramic Scotish Lochs
In Oslo we did Hadeland Glass Works & Viking Ships
All our excursion were very nice and we would recommend them and do them again.
25 Years in the Navy and I know how to handle Rude.
One bad excursion should not sour the rest.

Bombay Saphire Martini just a little dirty...
Bombay Saphire is a king of gin owned by Barcardi. The flavouring of the drink comes from a recipe of ten ingredients (which the bottle's label boasts as "10 exotic botanicals"): almond, lemon peel, liquorice, juniper berries, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise. The spirit is triple distilled using a carterhead still, and the alcohol vapours are passed through a mesh/basket containing the ten botanicals, in order to gain flavour and aroma. This gives a lighter, more floral gin rather than the more-common 'punchy' gins that are distilled using a copper pot still.

Sue & I have visited Nassau/CoCoCay every month of the year except July.
Have had a couple cool January/February visits, but the sun's always warm...
We've visited Nassau 26 times and CoCo Cay 19 times.
Bahamas average February Temps about 75-80 +/- up to 10 degrees...
Labadee, Haiti can be 5 to 10 degrees warmer in February...

Glad to see another HAPPY Enchangment Cruiser....
The Enchantment 3 and 4 day cruises out of Port Canaveral are our favorite getaways. A half days drive and we are there.
We really enjoy the Enchantment, for a seventeen year old ship that sails with up to 4,800 passengers each week, we think She's great... We are booked in October and December...
We've sailed the Sovereign 3 times, Monarch 11 times and Enchantment 5 times to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral since 2007... We've visited Nassau 26 times and CoCo Cay 19 times.
I've got to mention the New Years Eve Cruise on Enchantment...
We did this cruise December 30, 2013, New Years Eve in CoCO Cay and New Years Day in Nassau... We have it booked again in 2014...
The Enchantment knows how to Party on New Years Eve. Parties about the Ship for any taste, they had two combined bands in the Centrum doing Pop/Rock. They had a Latin band in Boleros, They had the Ship's Ochestra doing Big Band music in the Spotlight Lounge and a Pianist in the Schooner Bar. Every host/hostess started bringing out trays of complimentary Champaign about 11:45pm. There was a Buffet on the Pool Deck at 12:15am and if you were wondering what was happening in the Viking Crown Lounge, well, they started a Disco Party about 12:15AM (The First Party of 2014) that went, I'm Told, until 5AM... Reyno, the Concierge, had a party in his lounge too...
The Enchantment is just a FUN ship.

From Celebrity's Home Page
Each passenger is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property (including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you take.
I saw a post where someone saw 90kg as the weight limit. I saw that on a web search too....
BUT... 90kg is 198 pounds... I have not seen any luggage that can pack 198 pounds into a bag and I've not see a porter that could lift one that size either (they must have the gorilla handler hidden away)... :)

Anyone hear or read anything about diamond+ folks being ousted from the Cl. Asking because we just made diamond + and we cannot get a suite for our annual Feb. Cruise. Someone awhile ago mentioned it may change in jan. 2015..
I've read about right here on cruise critic and this is where to get the difinitive information about just about any topic.
It therefore must be true.. But I do not believe it...

My Wife & I and another couple and their mom did a 11 Day British Isles cruise in May, 2014. We finished at Copenhagen on Friday, May 23, 2013. We were the last of 4 Ships to come back to port that day. We docked at the New port facility.
What an unpleasant experience. Over 12,000 Cruisers trying to get into Copenhagen that morning.
Since we were the last ship in and the furthest ship at the docks, We were the last to see busses/cabs into town (People with transfers to the Airport were fine).
We were about in the middle of departure and when we got into the terminal there was a wait of over 2 hours for a cab, so we got into the line for busses (Longer than the Cab line). We waited about an hour and a half, they finally started to get some of the double decker tour busses to come out from town to take us just into Copenhagen Center (You had to purchase a two day ticket each) (Fortuately our Hotel was just four block away)...
Would I do another cruise that ended in COPENHAGEN...
Only if I knew who else was going to arrive in port that day...

We've been to CoCo Cay nineteen times since 2007. Have been there every month of the year except July. We must be lucky, only cancelled three times (two were sea days and one was an extra day in Nassau)...
We do not mind sea days. But given the choice between Key West or CoCo Cay. We would take CoCo Cay. Just love to get a lounge chair, sit in the shade of a palm tree read a good book while drinking coco locos then a nice BBQ Lunch before returning to the ship. Doesn't get much better than that.

Enchantment of the Seas is unique in it's class, during it's 2005 overhaul it was split in half and a 73' section added... Added a number of new lounges (Boleros), another Pool, Cabins, etc... It is a stretched Splendour, Legend, Rhapsody, etc). After the stretch, RCI decided it was not cost effective and canceled plans to stretch the other ships in it's class
