  1. Just found this thread. Did not read Cruise Critic last year.

Wife and I sailed the Monarch 11 (eleven) times after the Sovereign left the fleet. We did the last Cruise, it was great... We are not enjoying the Enchantment on those 3 & 4 day bahamas cruises.

Desmond is on the Enchantment, Keeping our glasses filled every night in the consierge lounge and around the ship.

    Thanks for this message thread.

  2. I agree! Our passport goes into the safe, first thing after boarding -- and there it stays! And now that our new passports have RFID chip, I'm shopping the PacSafe website for a wallet that will block RFID scanners.

We visited our local AAA office and they have a number of RFID Blocking Products, We got a pouch that holds 2 passport books and a small purse for credit cards, etc...

  3. Try a Bombay Saphire Martini, a little wet and a little dirty, straight up, olives...

Bombay Sapphire is a brand of gin owned by Bacardi that was first launched in 1987 by IDV.

The flavouring of the drink comes from a recipe of ten ingredients (which the bottle's label boasts as "10 exotic botanicals"): almond, lemon peel, liquorice, juniper berries, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise. The spirit is triple distilled using a carterhead still, and the alcohol vapours are passed through a mesh/basket containing the ten botanicals, in order to gain flavour and aroma. This gives a lighter, more floral gin rather than the more-common 'punchy' gins that are distilled using a copper pot still.
