If I were to book an Inside upper/lower on the Carnival Vista in May 2016 now and happen to get a girlfriend in the mean time that would like to go can you add a person to the stateroom, or would I have to be like "Sorry I booked before I knew you see ya in a month."?

Hi folks, I live in Saint John and can answer some questions. Most of the tourist area of Saint John can be seen by foot as most activity is on the "Central Peninsula" (aka Uptown and South End) the Reversing Falls is a 35 minute walk (about 4km) from the terminal (mostly up hill near the end) there is also the local city busses (#1 and #2) that will take you there for $2.75 each way every 30 minutes.

St. Martins is about an hour outside of town and Hopewell is about 2 hours away. This also results in the tides being different for the different locations.

On a snowy day here in Iowa, you are bringing me back to last February when we were on the Valor. Our flight was delayed as well, but ours was because of snow. I loved this itinerary so much we are doing it again next year. Love your review so far.

Love this review. I'm really looking forward to what they did in St. Thomas. I was on the Valor last year too for the same sailing as Starfire_rules. (The one with the fire.)

If you are on the Valor from San Juan, ship time is Atlantic Time. St. Lucia is also Atlantic Time. (St. Kitts, St. Thomas, Barbados, Sint Maarten as well)

When I booked on Saturday, the TC had to call Carnival for the Airport Shuttle and they said the earliest the accept for flights is 11am. My flight is at 11:29am to Newark.

It is amazing to see the little investment that some cities have. My hometown has 2 large new cruise terminals and we are not even a home port.
