  1.

I have changed from OBC to Paid Gratuities with no problem.

If you are Captain's Club, I would suggest calling that number, they are better than the normal reps.

Thanks so much for your help. I called captain’s club, got right through and an extremely nice lady changed it with no problem.

  2. I searched but couldn’t find an answer to my question. Is it possible to change your perk selection after final payment? I know I can call celebrity to find out, but I would like to avoid a long wait time if anyone on here knows the answer.

  3. One of our roll call members is posting a photo review.,I will probably post a shorter one in a few days. Here are some random thoughts.

We really enjoyed our cruise, At present Infinity is very well managed from Master on down. Last yr, same ship for ABC Islands nothing functioned on time, and BLU had poor service, meh food.,

,But now all new crew Master, staff etc. Had a nice CD..colorful dresser but a very energetic friendly guy, BLU...amazing service,,a few new menu items,,,needs more! Nice Sr officers Party. Helpful folks at guest services,

Ship is aging...needs updates and better functioning AC in some cabins, etc..

Music was mixed bag ,,,,,great house band, excellent piano player, 1 very talented guitar player..just finished his contract, another very good singer/ guitarist and one not good at all band/ singer,,,no loud obnixious music..yay! Did not go to any shows.,they had the Billy Joel trubute show.,saw and enjoyed that last yr,,,But music and shows will be diff when you go, Enjoy!

  4. SadieC--we will be on the same cruise with you. This will be our 5th time doing this cruise. Mexican ports are easy to do on your own. Tours can be arranged right off the ship. Be sure to go to Lands End in Cabo. As for Antigua, I recommend that you take a ships tour. They are very similar to the private ones summarized by previous poster. Keep in mind that it will be a long day to visit Antigua and that ships tour provide the peace of mind of not missing the ship. We have visited all of these ports before on prior canal crossings and I feel strongly that ships tours are the way to go if you want to visit Antigua--which you should! As for Costa Rica, you have that covered. If you want a tour in Colon, I also recommend sticking with Celebrity. Cartagena you can do on your own. My only caution there is (unless you want to shop for tacky souvenirs) is to tell your guide that you do not want to visit The Dungeons!

We will be on this cruise also. Thanks for the advice. We booked the ships kayak tour in Cabo. Do you know anything about this? I love to kayak, but I am wondering how rough the water will be.

  5. Thank you everyone. Phoenix dream that's the cruise I'm taking and the number of sea days does seem like a lot. I was just getting concerned with all the comments about lack of activities. We're going eastbound. Any other advice for the cruise, including shore excursions?

  6. I don't remember exactly, the room steward left a note on our bed about the special each time, but I think it was on about day 6 and day 12 of the 16 day cruise.

Thank you for the info. I was wondering too.

  7. Thanks for all your help. I certainly don't want to linger and impede someone else's enjoyment of the ship:) I was just needing an idea of what time would be reasonable. I have decided on a 1:45 flight. That will make for allowance in case of immigration hold ups and hopefully allow us to use the luggage valet if provided. We will have a 2 hr layover in Atlanta, which isn't too bad.

  8. I know this has been stated many times. However, when I need it I can't find it. I'm trying to make flight reservations. I can book 12:45, 1:45 or 2:45. The flight from my connection leaves at the same time so I'll be waiting either 1,2 or 3 hrs in Atlanta depending on my first flight. We'll be on infinity, and I'm hoping they have the baggage transfer service by then.

  9. We have booked a PC full transit for this November. Hubby and I started listening to The Path Between the Seas. After hearing about their trials during the "rainy season" I started some research. I already knew November was during the rainy season, but some of the travel sites suggested you could visit any month "except November "! They said the other months have brief downpours but in November there is more constant heavy rain. Can anyone share their experience through the canal in November? I'm before final payment so I could reschedule.
