  1. First time on Edge Class, only 2nd on Celebrity.  We are only really interested in one specialty dining reservation. On RCCL, we have found that they offer better dining packages/offers on embarkation day. Is that true for Celebrity as well? Are we better off buying ahead or waiting until onboard?

    Thanks!

According to the CC Befit PDF below.   Select get a discounted bag of laundry of cruises longer than 12 days.   They do not list the amount of discount.   To get a discount you will have to call in so if on a cruise longer than12 nights give CC a call.    If you purchase on line that is the price you will pay unless you cancel and rebook.

Do you know if we can get the discount by purchasing onboard or is it required to purchase ahead of time? PDF says 12 or longer and ours is 12 so we may take advantage. Thanks!

  3. Hi! I have seen so many post about great alcoholic drinks onboard, I am not a drinker so looking for some good ideas on the refreshment package. On our last cruise I had waters and coffees and that's about it. The frozen drinks (pina colada etc) are just way too sweet and I dont drink soda. We will be on Harmony this time around (we were on Odyssey last so no vitality spa but looking forward to some of those smoothies this time) Anything besides the "usual"?

    Thanks!

If you are cruising in Europe, he could easily be denied boarding. If you are cruising in the US, Canada and Caribbean, he should be fine. Or, he could just get the booster and not have to worry.

He won’t now because he just had it 2 weeks ago and his doctor told him 90 days 🤦‍♀️

I have literally read ALL of the wording. I guess at this point I’m looking for real life experiences. This link is about possible additional testing which I advised. More links explain up to date. Another link says you don’t have to be boosted to sail with Royal. But it’s all up for interpretation apparently.

  6. We have friends sailing with us in 3 weeks. He is vaccinated but is past the 9 month mark and not boosted. I have told him he may have to test at ports and mid-cruise but someone on Facebook is saying he will be denied boarding….. I can’t find that wording. He and I (FB guy) are reading the same language but interpreting it differently and of course phone agents are not helpful.
Can someone confirm that yes he can board but may be subject to additional testing?
Edited: Rome to Greek Isles cruise
    TIA

  7. We are on the July 23 sailing on Odyssey to Greek Isles. We “dock” from 1:00-11:00 in Santorini. Booked a private tour at 4:00-9:00. I am reading reports on FB about getting your tender tickets and how fast they “are gone to late times” and people not even being able to tender until 3:30-4:00, then the cable car line and the cable car line coming back and being back in time before the cable car closes… 🙀 I feel Ike I am going into full on panic mode a month ahead! Any good tips?
I have looked at the other ships in port that day and we are the latest arrival and one other ship has the same departure time at 11 which is Oceana Riviera. There are 4 ships total in port.
I think I’m feeling most stressed about being able to get off the ship to a tender in a timely manner.
Taking all suggestions and helpful tips 😊 we are a group of 8 so the key is a little out of price range for all of us.

Probably should say tomorrow.  Our July 22 cruise has said 7 June all along and it opened today right on schedule.  Yours should probably say 8 June (45 days out is the norm).

That's what Im thinking- maybe tonight since midnight will be the 45 day mark even though it says 7th

I have been trying both online and on app to no avail... maybe tonight!

  9. We are booked through Air2Sea on a flight out of Rome at 11:05. Air2Sea starts booking flights at 10:50 so I know we are ok but not sure what time to book my private transfer. Im thinking 7:15am.  Does anyone have any good info regarding departure time? TIA!

Linking bookings online will not link the separate bookings together for the MDR (assuming you are trying to get everyone seated at the same table). The only way to do that is all parties have to call as a previous poster mentioned and request to be linked with each other.

This is for a group so I know I can request our table for MDR next month- this was for booking shore excursions and specialty dining as a group of 8. 🙂

I might be imagining this, but I think I read of someone who had the same problem and who got round it by having the second person in their room link the other bookings.

So, if you have someone else travelling in your room, have them go into their CP account and try to link the unlinked bookings.

Why didnt I think of this! Created an account for my husband and added them all!! DONE! Thank you!

Yes,  and the reason I called for RC to assist me. Was told they needed to have the other parties to agree to link. Wishing you well!

Thank you! I will give it a try. So weird because I was able to link the other 2 just fine! Of course this is the one room who wont get around to calling.... I guess he misses out on the dinner I am trying to book for all of us LOL!  Thanks again!

Call 800-526-9723. Give them your booking number and tell the rep the reservations you'd like to link and they'll note it. But then the owner of  each booking has to call to confirm he/she would like to be linked with you.

Sounds archaic but that's what we had to do to link all of our friends for our NYE and anither recent cruise.  YMMV but hope this helps.

Thanks! Did yours give you the "linking limit reached" error?

  14. HELP! I have spent hours on hold, multiple phone calls and multiple emails and cant get any help and I dont know who to ask for this, what seems simple, problem. I have a group booked in which I am also sailing. In my personal cruise planner, I need 4 rooms linked (my room + 3 others). I can link 2 and then it tells me I have reached my linking limit. When I call they tell me I can link 6 rooms max... I have 3. I tried calling cruise planner and they say I have to go through groups because the rooms are in a group. Groups cant figure anything out except for me to call for ANYTHING I want to book for all 8 of us..... at 3 hour hold times for each call! That is not a solution! WHO DO I CALL that can fix this?
This is the error I get when I try to link the 4th room

    Sorry, linking limit reached

For security and privacy reasons, the number of linked reservations for the same cruise and sailing date are limited.
