I am making location cards for my kids' lanyards so they know where to find things. I have Soda machines at Sorrentos, windjammer, arcade by Wipeout cafe. Is that it or am I missing some?
Thanks!!

I just changed my cabin four times in the past 24 hours. Only I can do that for myself.
:)
That's not entirely true... I change cabins and rooms all the time. I mostly book Disney cruises but same idea. I am booking a Disney trip for a client right now (9:00pm on a Friday night)
What makes it hard sometimes when comparing TA's is that our commission comes from the booking agency-so RCCL in this case. Any OBC you are getting is coming right out of the agents pocket. Some bigger agencies who have more money coming in each month can offer bigger OBC. Agents with smaller agencies who work from home lets say, may offer smaller OBC because again, its directly out of pocket. It becomes a hot topic in Facebook groups and other places. Also remember a $10k trip will have more commission to the agent than a $3k trip, and likely a difference in what they offer.

We are just off the Oasis today and I wanted to give you our experience with college football. The only college conference playoff games that were shown this past weekend were those that were airing on ABC or ESPN (the MAC and ACC championship games). Games that were on CBS or Fox - SEC, Big 10 and PAC12 championship games - were not shown anywhere on board. We saw several Alabama fans huddled around an iPad streaming their game vs. Florida yesterday.
Oh boy..... well the Orange Bowl is on ESPN and I have an iPad if all else fails we will buy streaming..... thanks for the heads up!

Haven't seen it a all for 12/23. Been looking

On Air Club deck 5 and possibly at the Aqua Theater on the big screen.
Awesome thanks!!!

Hubby doesn't want to miss the Orange Bowl 12/30 Michigan vs Florida State. Where would be the best place to watch, if any- but please say there IS a place :)

We are on the Oasis 1/22/17 and for the first time booked a Jr Suite and was wondering if all suites get the same perks and if so what they are. We usually book a balcony sp this will be new for us.
We are in a JS on 12/23 and no the perks are not the same. We may get priority boarding and I think we can make a reservation in the Coastal Kitchen for dinner only. Otherwise no perks, those are reserved for suites in classes higher than a JS. 😞

Anyone have reviews for them? Cant pin point it on TA....

Following....thanks for the review. We are sailing on Dec 23rd.
Us too!! :)

They are 16 and 12 and great swimmers so boat it is :). Thanks!!

Thanks that was very helpful. We are now considering going out on a boat snorkel tour. Does anyone have an opinion if those tend to be better? My kids have the impression it will be.

This is the new marina opened last year next to Puerta Maya. As he says not far from International. There are plenty of taxis in Cozumel, I would think the vender would know if there are waiting taxis?
I would want to be back no later than 4.30-5pm ship time. Be sure you are all on the same page regarding ship time and local time. Is your ship docking late as you are taking a late excursion?
Thank you. Yes we are on the same page with ship and local times. That was one of his first questions. We arrive in port at 7 but he is taking a larger party out in the morning so is willing to take us out later which is very nice. I was figuring to be back to shore around 4ish so that sounds about right. His tours are usually 3.5-4 hours but he is willing to do a shorter one with us. So we will be 1-4, not bad
Perfect. Sounds like we will have a good 3 hours then at least Thanks again!

Which pier are you docking at and us this the new marina?
International Pier and Cozumel Marina (Marina Fonatur)? Sorry not sure if that is new or old. I guess I better figure it out before I get a taxi!!! He says 5 min by taxi from the pier....
-
So it looks like we are doing a private snorkeling tour from the marina. They can take us out at 1:00. The ship leaves port at 6:00pm. What time should we be leaving the Marina to make it back comfortably? And will a taxi be easy to come by?
Thanks for your help!

Kind of liking that we dont have to book it ahead. It raises my anxiety to have to find my own transportation but it is SO much cheaper than booking through the ship so I guess we will go that direction. Thanks for the input. Sounds like they will all be similar enough so I will make note of them all!

Just looking for a few hours of snorkeling with the kids as we will have had a full beach day the prior day. Ranked higher than Playa Uvas but cant find anything here in the first 5 pages.
Any recommendations?
Would like a bit of beach too so probably not money bar, but understand this is not a "beach break"
Thanks
-
I can't answer your questions, but we will be sailing with you. Can't wait!
Yay! Did you join the roll call meet and mingle? Who is in your party?
I love gingerbread decorations! That sounds like it would be neat at the Windjammer! Thanks for sharing that info!

I booked this through RCCL because it was actually cheaper than booking through Playa Mia. My concern is there are 7 ships in port that day (Dec 29 I think). We are scheduled for 9:00am which to me is early but leads me to believe we might have a better chance of getting a spot being that early, and then according to RCCL, it is 5 hours, so leaving around 2ish.
Does this sound crazy with that many ships in port? We spent a lot of money on excursions earlier in our trip so I was just looking for the cheapest "beach break" to get us off the ship for awhile. This was the cheapest one I could find. Not interested in AI.
Not sure what I am looking for specifically, just any input you might have.
Thanks!

Hubby & I are sailing on December 23rd. I am really loving all the ideas and can't wait for our cruise. Where are you, Christmas?
Us too. Me, hubby, daughter 17 and son12 :)

THANK YOU!!!! I can finally stop endlessly searching the internet!
Funny spot for the pullman for sure but whatever!
YAY!!!! So glad I chose to change categories. Cant wait!
-
You can be 99.9% confident it will be exactly like 6240, which we have stayed in. It has the pullman above the main bed and a queen(ish) sofa bed by the balcony.
Awesome thanks kruzerci!! Yes! on the deck plans, it shows them as the same so I greatly appreciate it!
Above the main bed??? Weird.... Ok, not that hubs and I need "alone" time with just a curtain separating us from the kids, but that just seems weird....
Oh, are there lounge chairs on the balcony?
Any other tips you can provide about that location? We have the beverage package so seems like Schooner Bar will be our most frequented.
Trying to put together "location" cards for the kids with free places to eat and where the soda machines are etc.
I will absorb any other info you wish to provide.
Oh my gosh--- so excited! 30 days from today!!
-
Great info! Thanks for sharing. What was your room number if you dont mind sharing.
-
This website does not have PM capability enabled.
Ah ha! Thanks for that! I just hope she will see this then :)
Unless someone can confirm that if the deck plans show a black diamond in the room, I can be confident there is a pullman....?
Thanks!

Hi Lauren,
I am trying to PM you but cant figure out how :( Did you end up staying in this room 6242? I am trying to confirm it has a pullman from the ceiling. Any insight you can offer? Thanks so much!

We are doing a similar cruise in June. I would love to know about the easy half day to Pisa (for my 15 year old)- what time did it leave the ship?
Also in Cannes do you know if the Petit Train goes to Palm Beach?
Thank you for sharing!
